I wouldn’t mind seeing Jenkins and Luke on the bench.

Kenny plays 25 at dummy half and thats It, option in the middle of guys go down.

Fish plays the first and last 25, Leniu plays the middle 30. Martin plays the first 20 at prop and moves to the right edge until 25 to go. Leota the second and 4th middle stints. Sorenson starts on the right edge,3rd middle stint and closes the game on the right edge. Hosking plays the first 50 on the left edge and then Tago shifts to the edge for Jenkins.

1. Edwards 2. Tito 3. Tago 4. Critta 5. To’o 6. Luai 7. Cleary 8. Martin 9. Kenny 10. Fish 11. Hosking 12. Sorenson 13. Yeo 14. Luke 15. Leota 16. Leniu 17. Jenkins

Change 1 (20M) Sorenson OFF Leota ON
Change 2 (25M) Kenny OFF Luke ON
Change 3 (25M) Fish OFF Leniu ON
Change 4 (40M) Leota OFF Sorenson ON
Change 5 (55M) Hosking OFF Jenkins ON
Change 6 (55M) Leniu OFF Fish ON
Change 7 (55M) Martin OFF Leota ON
All this just to carry a winger on the bench, martin is an 80 minute edge backrower, why shift so many postions unnecessarily, Chricton leaves next season, Tiny might shift to centre, and Turuva on the wing, or vice verca, tago staying in the centres ensures we aren't without an experienced centre out there, we should never weaken multiple spots, when it would be easier to carry a 2nd row option on the bench, to me thats Sorrenson, he showed enough last game to give us power on an edge, and offloads, something that we've been lacking since kiks went the dogs...
If you want jenkins to come in have him at no.18, a few HIAs one day will give him a shot, and then can do the hotshoe shuffle to get him on, otherwise stick with a versatile pack, have to remember we already salmon who covers centres,5/8th, backrow.. and we need 2 hookers, and 4 props

If Martin is having hammy issues it might be a good thing he was only extended for next year.

Pretty important to back up last week with another solid performance.

Shut down turbo and we'll go a long way..

Hopefully we play with the same mindset as last week.

Thought the club might have said something by now about fish's injury...

Never good when they hold back news.

They would've know the results of the scans by now

I can kind of understand the Huth selection over spencer or lindsay to start the game. In the first 20-30 minutes of a game our props basically just tackle and Huth is very good at that, not a big hitter by any means but he wraps guys up and slows down play the balls well. That being said I'd like to see Spencer and Lindsay given decent stints again, let leoata come back on for the last 20 and run riot again and only bring Huth back on if they really need to.

Probably not the right thread for this either but I was impressed with Henry on the weekend. He is definitely a workhorse type but he has the ability to bend the line, poke through holes with a bit of footwork(for a prop) and create impact, he is built a bit like Sorro with just a bit less foot speed atm but that can ben worked on to an extent and he has a massive motor, doesnt miss tackles or do anything stupid. Once he is available he will be pushing on the extended bench pretty quickly I think, he won't get into the top 17 this year but later in the year if we have injuries I can see him being the next middle up.

He is looking pretty good in cup. The start of the game on the weekend he was very damaging with every run he just doesnt have big minutes in him but I could see him being a very good short minute impact prop at some point in the future.

He didn't trial.

missed Round 1
The side had a bye in Round 3.

He will get some gametime later in the season

I liked the look of Larry Smith on the weekend, and hope he goes well again this week. From what I've seen of him in NSW Cup, he's more of a starter than a benchie - but he's still pretty raw in the NRL, so I get Huth getting that spot. But if we're still looking for a starting prop later in the year, I think we have to give him a shot at it.

Looking ahead to next year, I like that we have options with our middles. If we can keep Sorro, we can either go: Fish/Leota with Sorro/Blacker off the bench. Or Fish/Smith with Sorro/Leota off the bench.

If we lose Sorro, I'd be prioritising a decent #9 and moving Kenny to the Sorro role. We should be looking at a #9 regardless, but you get my point.
