Mickey,
so in a way supercoach has been moved sideways and our assisstants have been given greater say.. If it works then it is the same as sacking him and having Shep or young being given the job for the rest of the season . So eventually supercoach will be just trotted out for the presser . It would be interesting to see if any of marys picks are the same as the other 3 !!!!! This gives us hope that players will no longer be koalas like mary had them . If others are pulling the strings and we get results I can live with it
I think your right...give Mcgregor less say put more bodies around him to make the big decisions - I actually I saw Shephard address the players at halftime yesterday - Mcgregor has been demoted to media duties only

I think that Lomax needs to tell Ravalawa that he is a big boy and can handle right centre
tackles and that he needs to cover his opposite wingers wingers who are scoring easy tries usually one each game because Ravalawa is out of position.

Anthony Don will have a field day against shortarse JP on the weekend. This is one game u may want to play Saab, however he is right winger not left.

I’m afraid I have come to see Rava as too much of a liability. His front on defence is good and he certainly runs the ball hard and can finish well when it is needed, but he can be relied upon to make crucial mistakes every game and to drop a number of bombs, every game. He scored two tries but made two errors that led to Sharks’ tries. I know he is relatively new to his craft but as far as I can see he plays for us and against us every game.

From memory, that's where he played for Fiji last year and did a pretty good job too...
1 game vs Lebanon. No disrespect to the Lebanese players but the part timers that night weren’t setting the bar too high compared to 1st grade nrl players each week.
Like you said let’s move on, let’s agree to disagree. Let’s hope James Graham isn’t playing FB anytime soon

I think you have me confused with Dragonslayer.

BTW, players have been selected out of position based on far less than playing there in a test match!

Just sayin'...

Yeah I see that now. All this riff raff about team selections has clearly worn me down. Rava has many issues on his plate each game and throwing him into centre in the nrl would in my opinion be a very bad idea with no reserve grade. All he has to do now is catch and tackle and every game he shows that is a massive task in itself. Why add the mental burden of reading attacking plays in and out

I just thought it was funny in a 3 2 1 where people generally state their selection and accept others.
Isn't that the point of that particular thread?

You have made a valid point I accept your point of view.

I should have made that post in another thread and will endeavour to do so next time if I feel such comment is warranted.

Oh dear me!!!

So adaptable hey, James Graham to fullback I say
Interesting that those rabbiting on about positions have not mentioned the fact that Aitken who was a left centre actually played right centre to accommodate Lafai for how many years?
Nighty had to swap wings to accomodate Nene for a period of time.
None of this has ever bothered Mc Humptydumtry before so why should it now?
