On the line. He was planted leaving a nice gap for Parker. Not the first time.
Actually he was in at marker having just made the previous tackle.

Mick are you sure he was singing the team song or just whincing in pain because someone was pulling splinters out of his arseLucky to get the win but glad we hung in there til the end to get it.
Also, nice to see Lomax singing the team song in his dinner suit post match when he could of been out there kicking goals and keeping us clear of them.
Thanks Mary, still shaking my head that you were re-signed.
Yep, if that was us this whole forum would've felt dudded too.
In truth, youre right...the game is 80mins long, not the last 4 seconds. Being denied a fair penalty to take it to extra time is tough. Those bad ones have happened to us before, and it will again.
Rugby League is a DRAMA sport. Bad ref calls are all part of the drama, just as dropped balls 10 metres out from our own line.
Yeah mate just the stats you want coming into Thursday...more reason why Lomax should have got a runYes a mighty effort and as a reward we get a whole 5 days off before facing a rampaging Easts in what must be an emotional as well as a very physical game on Anzac Day.
I don't drink anymore. Haven't had a drink since January. I think thats why I am so cranky.
Its hard to watch isn't it?If we keep playing like this you will be drinking by May.
My apologies.Wrong. Made previous tackle.
In the face of THAT penalty count, our unforced errors, lost 50:50 calls, missed points opportunities and a well drilled and determined Manly side in winning form, I would just about rate a gritty win like that perhaps our most valuable game of the season to date. Sure, last week was great but in the end, the boys were toying with the bulldogs. A game like that one tonight is what builds character and deepens team spirit. Seeing McInnes, Graham and other forwards' efforts in defence in the last quarter, if that isn't inspirational, I dunno what is.
PS Fair dinkum! I almost think a pair of orangutans could have reffed that one better.
Great spirit to win another tough game despite the coach, the players are to be congratulated. I hate that Lomax is being completely under utilised, tonight not at all despite a lame duck goalkicker and using only 16 in a tough physical game. Is Lomax not one of our best 16 players?? McGregor is a deer in headlights, no strategy and will continue to be a flat tyre to our premiership chances.
Wonder if the non use of Lomax indicates he is there as a HIA/ injury cover and not to be injected in the game when we need a lift or speed. Puzzling to me
Yeah people see what they want to seeMy apologies.
And we have our own on here saying we have nothing to complain about concerning the refereesAccording to Hasler it would have sent the game into golden point, that's how silly it's going to get in the tabloid media tomorrow.
There'll be no mention of the six consecutive penalties given to Manly in the second half. Nor will they mention the 56% possession to Manly and how they had every opportunity to win. They'll also overlook Manly's 22 missed tackles.
No, they'll say the game was decided by a ref call with zero seconds left on the clock.
