From a long suffering Dragons supporter to many long suffering Eels supporters I offer you massive congratulations...

Cheers mate, all the best with your mob too. I've got a mate who's a dragons supporter and it's been frustratingly up and down for her in the last few years.

I think Hayne -Mannah - Hoppa(wing) - Tonga could all get an origin call. With Farrah out Peats might be looked at as well. I hope not thou. Will only disrupt our season.

Hopefully ony hayne is picked.Than we slot Hoppa in the back or sio and Bring Morgan back or Hunt

Congrats Eels fans, been pulling for you guys as a second team since the great 2009 run. Hopefully this is the season you guys make a dent in the comp. After a week from hell at The Warriors, it was good to see your mob get up and give that sort of performance.

What was impressive tonight was the way the team supported the bomb catcher. Lots of interference. This simply has not happened under the previous 4 coaches. Wingers have previously had to difuse bombs against numerous opposition players without even the slightest hint of support. Another indication that we finally have a rugby league coach.
Well done BA. Too much praise is not nearly enough.

So far, Arthur impresses me as being a very, very good coach.
I was hoping we'd get Jason Taylor, because I thought we needed inspiration above all else at this point in time. But Arthur seems to have given us that inspiration as well as good structures and methods, whilst also playing to our strengths. Not saying Taylor couldn't have done that as well, but I'm very impressed by Arthur so far.

I thought Hoppa would be a certainty for origin this year, but not so sure now. Maybe next year.

Wow, you've been pulling for us; and Joely gets pumped every week before the game. What's with all the sexual stuff? Am I missing something?

I'm surprised so many of you wanted Taylor. I honstly can't see him ever coaching first grade again. But glad you are now all at King Arthur's table.

I may be a little bias but I think Qld would be better off picking Inglis at fullback and Tonga at left centre then playing slater at fullback and inglis in the centres. It would be a massive call and the media would go insane. I also think Hoppa should make it, in origin the backs dont see a lot of ball and Hoppa is a smart player, great out of dumby half and a defensive rock which is what you need in origin. Peats and Mannah would have to be a real chance especially if Farah and Gallen aren't fit.

Yet people on here don't mind if we lose him

Heart and soul of this club, along with Hayne. Two great leaders IMO

I agree wth this, hope they play their whole careers with the eels

But I disagree with Mannah for Origin

Woods is ahead of him IMO

Fifita, Tamou will be there

If Parra is around the top of the table still come selection time I think Mannah would be a strong bench option for nsw, especially if he plays well in city/country.

Hooker will be a battle between Ennis and Peats, again CvC could decide it.

Hoppa probably a long shot but doing himself no harm with parra high up the table
