Nervous at half time. We caught a break with Fifita going off & somehow came alive after falling asleep for a bit. A lot to like about that because we were prepared for a brutal game(not prepared for the short kicks but we adapted).
So happy.

Thought we were good early on then the sin bin,
Happy at ht
Thought we shoudnt lose from here..
Stormed early in the second half.
Then a lapse as sharks were on a roll.
Lucky when holmes touched it.
Once jack scored it was safe.
We looked a bit iffy on aitken side, irrespective of who came off .
Its a good win, sharks were brave but does it matter.
And whoever put the Anzac day 5 days after a trip to NZ is kidding.
PS Moylan was Good for us.:grinning::grinning::grinning::grinning::grinning:

This is a serious team that can turn it on at will, it seems.

Very hard not to dare to dream, even this far out, even after the last few years of early promise.

It just seems different this year...

we treated them lightly going for a try when we should have taken the 2, 8 point turn around and gave the sharks a sniff, luckily Holmes fingers touched the ball.

Didn't Widdop kick something like 9 from 9 last season with his son handing him the kicking tee one game last year at WIN?

He looked disappointed when the breeze blew that fourth kick just wide.

Not a bad run tho...

Anothr gutsy effort tonight by our boys well done....need to tighten our edges a bit particularly young Aitken at times his anticipation and timing is off....although who could argue with his last bootlace tackle that put their winger into touch.....didn't think our halves played together as well as they have been...at times they looked a little disjointed in their structure....but that can happen I guess beca use they are still relatively new to each other...bring on Warriors
