Round 6 vs Sharks

Yeah, I think Dufty is our long term fullback for sure.

With that in mind, and considering our halves are signed for 4 and 5 years, is anyone really too bothered by the fact we will likely lose Jai Field? He's not as good as those 3, but he's probably NRL quality for another club. A bit too good to ask to hang around as a mere backup
I said at the beginning of the year that I thought Field was going to be first grade fullback, but I wasn't sure if that would be at our club or another club.

I doubt very much that it will be at our club now.

Another tough win and again we escape injury free. Very proud of the boys, they really stuck it to them.
Sims, JDB, Vaughan and Friz were huge, Dufty and our halves were excellent too, erratic and unpredictable but excellent. We're dangerous right across the park, oppositions have no idea where we're going to hit them.
Talk about rocks and diamonds, Aitken bombs a try, saves a try, scores a try and lets in a try, can't grumble though, we won and won well. Very happy !

I was disappointed to hear the crowd booing the Duges, he doesn't deserve that at all, always did his best for us every week.

Dufty & McInnes small in stature, huge heart...
JDB , Vaugh , Simms , Frizzel, LAM, all playing outstanding.
Hunt and Widdop , confudence and swagger..
proud of the boys, still some areas to improve on...credit to the coach and team...

6 wins from 6 games and we are still improving.

At the beginning of the season, I had us as 4th pick to win the comp, but a long way behind the likes of Easts, Melbourne and Nth Qld. We are going better than I thought we would go. Us and the Warriors are the 2 form teams of the comp.

I was wrapped in Dufty's two tries. I am looking forward to posting the poll of who we would prefer at fullback out of Dufty or Dugan. lol

I am very happy that I backed us to win the Minor Premiership and the Premiership a few weeks ago.

I think Objective View, may even be starting to believe now. lol

Dont usually pick on players from other teams but Moylans game is almost a none event these days...hes gun shy and totally off his game since being at the Sharks...not tbat its our worry just an observation ive mace..

Very poor signing by Sharks. He will never play for NSW again.
Watching our fullback rip it up tonight makes me wonder if the Sharks another poor signing. That's what I wanted Dugan to do, and he barely ever did.

I’d try him on the wing
I think we could go close to our first loss next week against Warriors.. Just have a sick feeling..

* good win. Would've been a totally different game if Holmes didn't touch that ball though! We get soft and fall asleep sometimes.

* Some worrying signs in our defence at times. That hard hitting, proactive defence from the first couple of rounds is not there...might be related to refs being more sensitive for penalties.

* brute acceleration and speed is an X factor... Dufty is that. Dugan was secure for us but dufty makes the opposition insecure.

*Warriors to beat us next week.
