He didn't have to kick that, but it was perfect.

Performance from both halves outstanding so far. Kinda like last week..

Couldn't watch the Klein show anymore. We are getting layed on all game and crickets. So much for cracking down on foul play

Cleary’s kicking game has been very good, his passing game on the other hand...

I know I mentioned it before, but I really think Burton at FB could fix some of our attacking problems. Would give us an extra ball player out there.

Good start. Edwards hasn’t missed a beat, looks bigger & fitter than last year.

Hope they bring Burton on in the middle of the field as a ball playing forward.

Is it just me, or do we struggle to convert heavy possession and good field position into points? We get the better of pretty much any team but don't put on big points. When the opposition strike back we seem to lose confidence and the game becomes much closer than it should be.

It happened against the Dragons, then Newcastle, then Parra and it looks like the same was happening late in that 1st half. Lets hope to God we turn the 2nd half back around.

Our attack at times look so slow we ran at them with pace through luai and we score.Melbournes left side is a massive weakness without ado carr and we have hardly gone down that side. How does liam martin not find t'oo to score early on geez we are a dumb side sometimes.

Good first half, Martin was fantastic at the start of the match and luai has been great.
We really need to find a way to get to’o a bit of space, he is awesome.

Everybody knows that we could fit all 4 of our young talents in the squad. As a bit of an example we could do the following;

1. Burton
6. May
7. Laui
9. Cleary

But it won't happen without a bunch of injuries forcing it and IC will never shift his son from the 7 even though I still believe it would be his best position.

Burton, May and Laui can all play 1, 6, 7. May and Laui can play a bit of 9. Burton could easily slot into the centres and eventually lock/2nd row.

im probably wrong about this but at least tonight it looks like Melbourne are holding down our players and just constantly getting tangled slowing down the play the ball making it very hard to attack. I mean our attack isn’t great usually anyway but still Klein is being to lenient imo.

That being said I wish we would start using the right side of the field more often, Martin and To’o need some good ball plus Cleary is constantly kicking to Seve why not test him in attack as well?

That boat has well and truly sailed.

Bennett would have moved him to 9.

It looks to be his future heard it many times of the years with some of our large backs such as Lewis and Graham. Luke Lewis ended up being an excellent Lock and edge 2nd rower and well Graham is really just a 2nd 5/8th that also has the size of a 2nd rower and can do a job on the edge even without his playmaking.

Api is twice the hooker Cleary could ever hope to be plus Cleary is clearly so much better at organising our players in attack then both Luai and Burton plus has a much better kicking game over both. Would be really stupid moving him to 9.
