Some of our defence - namely Bedsy, Houston, Costigan, Snowden, Mullen and Tahu is carrying our side.

Half our forwards were simply disgraceful tonight, ragdolled in attack and defence and line and lateral speed that would make Matt Parsons look like Ben Barba. Beau Scott will be an improvement but we need so much more.

Well the plus side was our defence, we hung in well considering the train wreck of the first half.

There should however be alarm bells ringing because the team is just not gelling and our forwards look small and easily dominated. I did however think Evarn made a difference.

I suspect that Bennett doesn't have many options but there are plenty of blokes playing themselves out of contracts.

If the AU selectors are fair dinkum, then Boyd and Uate should not get a jersey.

Boyd needs to really start lifting his involvement, he was a little better tonight but doesnt really look like he wants to touch the ball every set, unlike someone like Slater.

We are really in a hole and the work in progress line is wearing very thin.

Tui was ok - nothing special but does his job.

Boyd looked worse if anything. I keep waiting to see him do good stuff, but this week he wasn't even safe.

I'd give Kyle O'Donnell a run. Never been a fan till this year, but he is a bigger and stronger prop than Tui and looks to be developing into the prop we need. He'd be about the same as Cuthbo now, but getting better every game.

i agree with this, but i thought Eddy was fantastic in defense. Zeb is doing a lot of work, but missing way too many tackles and getting man-handled often with the ball.

i thought Snowy was extremely disappointing, and his first real stinker for us. we needed him to step up and lead the way, but he got smashed a few times and went missing.

on the bright side, we only lost by 8. our defense was strong when it counted... we just really need some bigger bodies, and to work out how to score points when we need them.

I agreed with RABK, I actually think we need Mason more than we realise.

I can only imagine that Bennett is now starting to get a little p*ssed off with our performances.
