Plent of issues with that side

- Coote ain't a winger, too small, better to let him get fully healthy, I think we need to persist with Earl, can't drop him after a couple of poor performances

- Why is Plum starting in the front row ahead of McKendry and Grant? Grant is a must starter

- Smith wont be ready

- I still don't like Tahu in the backrow

Put Tighe on the wing over Earl and that's spot on. He's placement for that 1st try was reserve grade standard standing under the posts 60m behind the play and only came to Widdop when he was 10 out WTF was he doing And I think Tighe is more a winger then Centre.

On that where was Gordon?? He should of been at the back 20 behind the play if he was it may of stopped the play. very Sloppy. He's a great player but errors like that you can afford against the Storm

From an outsider looking in(parra fan live near penrith so still keep an eye on them)
Tahu needs to come into the centres. He offers nothing as a second rower. Simmons looks very good to me.And gordon is my pick for the NSW fullback gig.Travis Burns is not a 5/8 and does not help walsh one bit- i hear use have some very good young options to try there and Elliot needs to try them.

1 Gordon(wasted on the wing your best player forget the past)
2 Tighe
3 Jennings
4 Tahu
5 Simmons
6 Tamata/coote ( or some young guy)
7 WAlsh
8Petro
9Kingston
10 Grant
11Waterhouse
12 Lewis
13 Smith

14 Seluini/Burns
15 Plum
16 Mckendry
17 Paulo/fatiaki/Laurie ( basicaly whoever is in form)

Ok now Travis Burns is the problem in your side.He should be your number 14 or persist with seluini who looks good.Walsh cops unfair stick but leads the side rnd well with no help.

Our major problem is our backrow. Aside from Waterhouse, who is past his best, we have nothing in attack. We need Paulo or Yilleen Gordon. Seluini and McKendry offer good impact.

Taumata needs to be given another opportunity.

Why does Elliott persist with playing out of form centres in the backrow?

IMO:

1. Michael Gordon
2. David Simmons
3. Michael Jennings
4. Timana Tahu
5. Brad Tighe
6. Lachlan Coote (if fit, else keep Walsh at half till he is)
7. Travis Burns
8. Tim Grant
9. Kevin Kingston
10. Petero Civoniceva
11. Nigel Plum
12. Trent Waterhouse
13. Nathan Smith

14. Nafe Seluini
15. Matt Bell
16. Sam McKendry
17. Sarafu Fatiaki

18. Yileen Gordon

Not sure if Smith will be available, if not then keep Sarafu Fatiaki at lock and have Yileen Gordon on the bench. Luke Walsh is way too inconsistent to keep his spot IMO. He's useless more often then not and IMO Travis Burns could do just aswell in most areas as Walsh at half, with Coote bringing something different at 5/8. At the very least we'll have a halves pairing that isn't afraid to take the line on or put their body on the line.

Not that it matters. Matt Elliott won't drop Walsh, and Coote will automatically get picked at fullback despite being nowhere near as good as Gordon.

That had to be a deliberate ploy. It happened extremely regularly and Gordon is one of the best backs positionally in the game at the moment. There's no way he was just forgetting to go to fullback all game. In fact there were times when Sandor looked like he had forgotten and had to sprint back to be in position.
