I would move Critton back to Centre and Naden to FB Knights Centres aren’t to bad. Saturday’s match could be important for Naden or Jennings. Naden was an impressive FB in juniors.

If there is no momorovski I would like to see
Staines at fullback, Crichton left centre, Burton right centre naden wing.
I think Burton could handle the switch easily and possibly cement the position.

If naden doesn't get picked writing is on the wall for him unfortunately. Would be a real shame because he's the next best centre we have for sure. If ivan doesn't pick him I guess he has burnt that bridge.

I really hope IC can give him another chance.

If he does pick naden I'd just go straight swap for momo.

As for critta, someone needs to sit him down and show him footage of Billy slater in his last season of nrl at 34yo. The energy, little efforts, speed get to kicks and returning the ball, defensive efforts. If Billy could do it at 34 critta can surely put in a bit more.

I certainly don't expect him to be as good as Edwards but when critta pulls his finger out and plays at 100% instead of 75 he looks promising.

Just imagine if Brian Too could play fullback ? Now that would truely the human pinball .

He could play fb for sure. Just not the new style everyone likes that can chime in and play make in the backline.

He'd be a more traditional fb following the ball around the ruck looking for offloads, getting lots of touches etc.

Not suggesting we put him there but I think he could play there. Just wouldn't suit our style atm.

I don't think it means writing on the wall. Poorly timed suspension hurt but he will get his chance later in the year

If ivan refuses to name him it's just poor/stubborn coaching imo. He's definitely the next best option behind momo 100%. Imo I think he offers more than momo in attack tbh.

I understand he has to prove himself after last year. I just think he's the missing link in the team. He's passion, attacking ability, friendships etc...

Anyone that watched nados highlights that I posted should be able to see he's the centre we need. If he's pulled his finger out and made defence a priority since last year then the rest looks after itself. If he hasn't then let him go but after last year, he's attacking ability, combination with Staines and love for the boys, he deserves a chance imo to play in this 2021 team

I'm probably a tad biased towards nado. Hard not to be if you actually watch his passion for the boys. As I said a few weeks back vs melbs... he was the most passionate bloke in the crowd and that's a fact..(or atleast in the western stand).

Anyway, much like I said with the broncs, I think the knights will be a very tough game. There pack is good.

Unfortunately when you're top dog (panther) everyone aims up every week.. fatigue increases x10.

Roosters last year was such a perfect example of a team well versed in playing under pressure and used to being the top dog. They were hammered by injuries all year but just kept showing up.

I hate the chooks but I see a bit of them/melbs in us this year. Commentators et all might think it's arrogant but we need that.

We are learning to play tough, not fancy. Take niggle and give it back. Defend hard but never quit.

This would also be my preferred backline however I get the distinct impression Naden is on the outer.

I think we'll probably know who replaces Momirovski when the NSW Cup team is finalised. I doubt we'll want to risk them picking up an injury or getting suspended.

Personally, I'd be bringing Naden in at right centre, and leaving everything else the same. Nado and Staines were electric in their 2 games together last year.

I really think our middle rotation needs to be looked at too.
We had a 30 minute block last night (and last week) where we only had 1 specialist prop on the field. This included a 6 minute block where our middles were Martin/Yeo/May. Why name 4 props if we're not rotating them 1 for 1?
Fisher-Harris is our only prop averaging over 40mins a game.

When we're dominating possession this strategy is fine - but when we're being matched up front, we need the bigger bodies on the field.
I feel like Ivan wanted to mix it up, i couldn't see why T.May came in so early
