This is the first year ever I admit total defeat and don't expect anything from them.
At least in other years I thought we had enough to have a good go at every game. We could swing some upsets now and then even though we'd get done by lower ranked teams.

I'll still hang in there but ...

The worst thing about this year is we already don't have any depth and we don't seem to be able to ever put even close to our best side on the field. How many games has our first choice spine actually played together so far this year? When was the last time we got through a game without guys playing out of position or our bench being demolished by injuries?

We are dead set out of luck and have been for a decade now. We can't even build our young team from the ground up because half of our team gets injured in every game and we have to go back to the drawing board with new combinations etc.

It's hard enough rebuilding this team as it is but Brown must be tearing what's left of his hair out and searching for answers at the moment because we go into next week with yet another spine combo.

I was gutted today, absolutely gutted. Manly played like shit but we made them look good with how bad we were. And of course it was Manly, the team that I absolutely hate losing to above all others. We just lack skill and class in just about every area, we manage to f@*k up just about every basic part of a rugby league game and then we don't have the mental strength to dig in and tough out a win in those situations. I literally hate being a Knights fan at the moment, it is embarrassing at every level and yet I still put myself through the agony of watching them play each week. Like others here have said already, I won't stop being a fan but it's hard not to feel like its a total waste of time at the moment.

Some of the above quote is finally truthful and close to correct.

He's obviously not a natural in the position which is what a lot of people thought he was. He needs a shit load of work and change in attitude not to mention a whole new approach to how he is going to return the ball because he is continually being rag dolled and thrown backward preventing the start of our sets getting any real advantage or momentum. It's just not good enough.

Hes fine on kick returns when he can use his footwork to beat players/poke his head through the defensive line. It's when he takes hit ups up the middle he finds himself getting smashed and dragged back.

Lets talk about the Knights as a whole.
Has the team improved under Brown?
The defense is still as bad as ever but even when the Knights got the wooden spoon last season, the attack wasn't this bad.
What does Brown actually coach the halves at training? Short balls to Tariq Sims so he can knock on? 5 hit ups in the opposition 20, then on the last for one of the halves to dummy and get caught with the ball?
All I have seen this season under Brown, is a very negative style of play.
No offloads, no second phase, no backline movements, nfi.
