Can Finau take a high ball? I rekon the Roosters will be targeting him all match long.

Finger's crossed Lawrie doesn't do anything stupid. He is due for a penalty or two.

Lawrie has been there and done that on Anzac day. Been there and done bugger all. I would give a rookie a call up. Let's see what they're made of. Energy and desire v a complacent plodder. I say good enough, old enough.
I’m probably one of the biggest critics of Lawrie on this forum and would prefer him to be out of the 17 but to be fair he hasn’t actually done too much wrong in his last two games. They might have even been vaguely satisfactory. He even made a line break last game - I nearly spilt my Rum Swizzle.
I still have zero confidence in him but on the last two games he’s done enough to keep his spot.

Two legitimate concerns. Hopefully a plan in place for the high balls.
I hope Lawrie just plays a short stint in the middle of the match and continues his uplift in form.

Rum swizzle. I had him as anytime try.

He is going well. Maybe his last ANZAC day game.

I will be on him again. Gamble, not like me.

I think its pretty hard coming into a game with about 20min to go and get the feel straight away, he also had one of the tallest wingers in the game, Saab, grabbing the kick off him to score. I think he will be much improved and focussed straight away against the Roosters. Sloan is not that tall either, so either of the two will have their hands full with Tupou anyway, as far as height goes.

Not just that, but fmd at least Finau jumped. How many of our recent wingers have actually done that

Not really, Nawaqanitawase is also good in the air, probably even better than Young because he can hold onto the ball. Wish Young wasn't dropped for just one more week, he has been so bad since moving from knights.
Agree, Dom is good for doing something dumb in a game, much like some of our players.

Billy Smith in the centres is a good player and one to watch. He is due for an injury though as he has hit his quota of 2 games this season. The poor bugger has had an injury riddled career so far. If the chooks can get more games out of him that will be a huge help to their season.
