The articles that were submitted after 9:00 in these matches were marked,
One was 9:01, the other was 9:00. Don't make out it's something that its not.
Please read my earlier post, I said there has been precedents before. The circumstances were different as the captains were onto it very quickly.
If the team has a post in after 9:00, then the player has every reason to be concerned. That same player should alert their captain immediately and the captain should let the opposing captain and referee know, ASAP.
Depending on the circumstances, the situation has a chance of being salvaged...
if everyone is in agreement.
It doesn't have to be a rule, just something aranged in the spirit of cooperation.
But fair dinkum, its getting to stage where we'll need to have things signed in triplicate.
The F7s isnt supposed to be like that.

granted we cant see what went on behind the scenes between the captains and the Ref, but at face value it seems like double standards to me that the articles in these games are marked when Cloete's article wasn't.
You're right, HBB, you
don't know what happened behind the scenes. I know you're using a 'face value' analysis, but this business of searching back through threads in the hope of finding some perceived 'double standards' is really a nonsense. It only adds to the misunderstanding and with respect, I find it annoying.
Perhaps every ref and captain as well as the organisers will need to keep logs or a diary of every match
just in case someone goes looking for dirt.
Is that where we are at now?
Do we have to justify every decision, retrospectively?
The ref did what he could to try and get a dialog going. He couldn't wait forever and he had to mark the match.
The essay can be used in another match and the losing captain doesnt have a problem with the referee's decision... that should have been the end of it.
