If they do that our forward rotation will be put off. You'd have both Katoa and May on the bench.

Our backrow plays 80mins anyway. JFH played 60mins in backrow last week. May/Katoa can do time at lock.

For me we need to get May fit ASAP. So giving him Hetherington's 10 or so mins with a full NSW Cup game the week after should have him right to go for WT and Merge games.

Or is doesn't play this week and misses Dragon's game but we need close to our top team for that.

NSW Cup's ordinary scheduling strikes again. Playing this week would be handy for these times

I personally would have peaches back in the centres this week. It would help with the forward rotation, may could give Wallace and katoa a spell without disrupting structures to much.

DWZ
Crichton
Peachy
Whare
Phillips
wallace
Maloney
Merrin
Katoa
RCG
Kikau
Yeo
JFH

CHN, Leota, Tamou, May

I don't mind that and agree he needs to get match fit quickly.

Not arguing it's a bad list but Wallace isn't playing half. Griffin will keep Peachey there. Especially with Maloney calling the shots as he seems to be.

I am sure you’re right, Griffin will keep peachy there it’s kind of his thing with 5/8’s.
Wallace is probably going to have to play half through state of origin if Cleary gets picked as Luai doesn’t seem to be in the frame for a call up.

It will be an all out kicking attack this week from the cowboys, a new winger, fullback and a 2nd rower in the centres will have Thurston drooling.
Bombs to the wingers, grubbers behind the line looking to exploit DWZ , with some shortball to Hess and Cooper thrown in.
It could get messy quickly, luckily we are at home kind of and Thurston may also still be having night terrors about JFH.

Yeah it is the downside with Cleary coming back early.
The Origin players will have to back up for a 6pm Friday game in Canberra after game 1, following the bye, but its not until game 3 that we will be without them, against the Warriors (round 17 at home).

The club must be tempted to hold Cleary back until the Dragons game so he isn't in the Origin running. There will always be next year.

Why hold him back longer?

Miss a few extra games to avoid Origin selection or miss a game due to playing Origin.

Let him play Origin if picked (which I think is unlikely now) and be better for the experience. Ond game with

6. Peachey. 7. Wallace.

Wouldn't kill us IMO.

Yeah great idea to hold the kid back from an extra 100k while we are trying to keep him

Think this may be the game that shows our horrid injury toll.

We just keep losing players in key positions and its about to catch up with us.

Cowboys will have Morgan at fullback, so Thurston will take the reins in attack which will expose our shuffled squad.

He may be down on form, but he is still a champion and with Morgan out the back, i think he will regain some form at our expense.

Like with May this week I don't think we are in a position to not play fit players. We have a director as a selector just get him to nudge them towards someone else... Just need that someone else to stand up before then

I have been thinking that every week. At 12-2 down on Friday I said to myself this is the bubble bursting...So who knows

They would have to get on top in the forwards for that to happen. Their forwards have been outplayed all season. They were overrun at home last start by the most unfit pack in the NRL.
