We get nothing as he's going to be off contract. Even the people with good mail here have said Crichton is the priority and no mention of Burton. Even May has been hinted at an extension.

We have injured backs, so it's better to stack the reserves with useful players, and not a third 5/8.

Must admit, I’m starting to fear we will lose him. Young guys don’t have a heap of patience anymore. Would be a big mistake not to try and get him in the team somewhere. With his skills & calm head, I think he can make a go of other positions.

He'd be signed as 5/8th by WT, Dogs or someone. No one will go all out incase he can't play other positions. If he was carving up lower grades as a centre or somewhere is a different story

There were weeks when Naden went missing from the teamlists.

It could be a rotating of players in the top squad as a number of new players brought in like Spence and Charlie Staines.

Fittler was a centre who developed into halve, that took time.

Burton is an excellent young halve who needs time to develop. Simples.
