Hopefully people see now that theres noneasy games in this comp when ur premiers.

We werent our best but thats because drags turnes up and matxhed us in defence and for intensity.

When your premiers 80% like some have suggested just isnt good enough.

Happy to get the two points but the reality there is no easy games for us this year.

You could see tonight we have a target on our head. That was the most spirited ive seen the dragons play in years.

Yeas if nath and and others had been on the field wed have won probs more comfortably but the fact is we will suffer injuries and origin outs this year.

Playing 80% is just not good enough as we saw tonight.

If we wont to go back to back play like premiers.

That was piss poor but take nothing away from the dragons. It was piss poor cause they matched us. We were fatigued and made mistakes, missed tackles etc.

Bludger of a game. Kikau can’t play 80, he turns to shit when he’s tired. You could say we were forced because of injury but the bench make up does things no favours. We need a dedicated back rower that we don’t use as our utility.

Shit night for Edwards, good night for Lenui, hopefully that earns him more minutes.

Ivan gives players 5 or so games to prove they’re not worth their spot, Staines is going to have to give us something more pretty soon or someone else is going to get a shot at his expense.

Silver lining is we played about 60 percent of our potential with a 2 man bench for most of the 2nd half and still won, but that was really frustrating we deserved to lose really. Some of those 2nd half penalties we gave away were so dumb, Ramsay runs 1m from dummy half and gets tackled and Kikau still flips on him and tries to slow it down further, why? They had zero momentum it was just dumb same as the 10m penalty the set before it was a 5 second play the ball we were not on the back foot at all and we still go early and give away a penalty and to compound it we come up with drop ball after drop ball after that.
