Anyway we also struggled a bit more with losing fish and having Kenny and salmon on the bench. Kenny was solid but we gotta pick one or the other and imo salmon is a better option. We lose one prop and get belted through the middle by an pretty average side.

Look Dragons forward pack really gave it to us.

Losing JFH and To'o really killed our yardage. Errors were terrible but this is a comfortable pass for Penrith.

Not tryung to pick out your posts in particular mate.

But tbh i think too looks to have started the year not fit. He was well below his workrate last week and again tonight before injury. Maybe fatherhood has caught up with him in the off season?

Also luai was brillaint in defence again. Like i said earlier in the week. The issue is when kikau is fatigued as we saw tonight. Its easy on first glance to blame his outside men but in reality they are left well short..

Losung fish really hurt tho

He was out there longer cause JHF didn't come out for 2nd half.
But it doesn’t necessarily have to be that way. How many minutes did Kenny play? I’m not sure but I doubt it was many, and with the injuries we had if we can’t find minutes out there for Kenny that’s a problem.

I’d be having Smith on the bench and Salmon the 14.

Need another forward on the bench.

Yeo is a God.

Guess we'll see May on To'o wing but hopefully injuries aren't too bad.

That edge did hold it's own. Though I still don't think they have been tested thoroughly. I was impressed with the Knights last week so let's see them next Saturday.

To'o hasn't started with a bang but he is essential to our yardage. Huge loss especially when you consider that Crichton switched sides which should have hurt our D.

Let me rephrase this, Api playing 80 is a duck load better than Kikau playing 80.

At franklin....

Tago made 186m (our top meter maker) which hasnt a centre hasnt done for us in a long time
23 tackles 0 missed
1 error

And they smashed his side all night long.

And i thought hes double movement call was rough too. In super slow mo yes... but at full speed its almost imposible for him not to just naturally land over the line.

Some of those 2nd half penalties we gave away were so dumb, Ramsay runs 1m from dummy half and gets tackled and Kikau still flips on him and tries to slow it down further, why?

Kikau is a physical specimen that can do things other players can only dream of. Unfortunately he is also dopey AF. Dumb penalties, not contesting a kick pushing idiotic offload attempts, no respect for possession.

Despite him scoring almost 1/2 our points, he was one of our worst.

That might be round 3. Kiks when he tired lacked punch. He is though an impact player.

Going forward we can't have Salmon and Kenny on Bench. Salmon gives up more options.

The lack of a 3rd prop tonight hurt us big time in the mid to late 2nd half.

You guys got away with murder in the ruck plus a couple of iffy sin bins, all of your points barring the charge down came during the first sin bin as well.

Very happy with the Dragons performance tonight.

That might be so.

Dragons did some pretty special spoiling tactics especially in the 2nd half. That along with injuries to Fish and Bizza tired us badly.

I agree Dragons played well.

He was great. That was a double movement though. Used his legs to push forward.
