Captained the SG Ball team. Dogs got plenty of forwards so maybe thought they didnt need him. Wonder why Souths not interested?

We had Petero's brother trialling last year and it led to nothing. Roy was good in his prime but it was short lived.

Why not. Even if Gibbs was Ok the side is down on front row depth IMO. There'll be more injuries and even if Gall is used as a prop he'll miss games through rep footy.

It's a good idea. But surely he is on decent coin at Souths. They may have the entire Burgess family but Roy would still be in the top 13. Cost too much I reckon. We should save up for another back. Gall should be moved there regardless of his wishes. Should get 2 props out of Ross, Fifita,Gallen, Green, Taufua and Coates. Even Taga could fill in.

I don't think he's on much now. He signed a 2.2mill 5 year deal from 2007-2011. I couldn't see him being on more than $250- $300k now seeing as though he missed nearly 2 full years of footy.

If he is free to leave and a new club could get Souths to kick the tin for a bit of the moolah he could actually be a bargain.
