I would have said Ling, but apparently we have let him go - so we have Natusch, Edwards, and we also have Gallen and Dobbins who couls aim up after a huge off season - but none of those guys is a guarenteed firstgrader. They are all rookies who have a chance to make it with hard work in a few seasons.

I am not sure if Edwards, Dobbin and Gallen are signed.

My wife used to be his employment case manager when he was in reserves and had next to no chance getting into the first grade side, so he was sent to try and get some work. She became really frustrated with him because all he wanted to do was play first grade footy and wasn't interested in finding any other work. When he made first grade, she was really happy for him and always asked me how Jessy was going. Last night when I told her that he had signed with the local comp and had got a job in the mines, she was pretty disappointed for him not to be playing in the NRL anymore, then she said, "Why couldn't have found a real job years ago?"

Some women don't realise that footy is more important than real life!

From what we can take out of how much he would be playing with Kurri for I find it unfathomable that the Knights don't have that amount of money to move under the 'cap'. The other possibility is that Knights management and Coach don't see him as being in our top 25 players which is more unfathomable than the salary cap issue. Something just DOESN"T add up with this.
The reason he is playing for Kurri Kurri is the coach is in a important position with the mine he will be working at he will be earn around 90k as a minium at the pit . That and the fact that if he plays with the Knights for another 2 years the chance to earn that kind of cash and more fot the next 20 years will be slim the same goes with Luke Quigley and anybody else they sign. Kurri I would expect will offer very little in the way of match payments.

Pretty dissapoitned. He was worth atleast another 2 years at 90k. Then he could have moved onto the mines, I don't see the point in getting rid of a 28 year old prop, it's pretty much when a prop starts to peak. Im thinkin there is something behind it.
