If agents are talking to R360 and using it as leverage in contract negotiations the agent should be banned for 10 years ?

This story is just weeks' old re-hashed clickbait to coincide with the last game of the season (PAC Champs final). People forget that the 10-year ban is for players AND agents. So Payne Haas' agent Ahmad Merhi is going to try and negotiate a deal for one 6% sugar hit when he has a stable of over 20 RL players? If he does, he is de-registered. He even went to the NRL to check what the consequences were a few weeks ago, because he was ######## his pants. The NRL said, 10-years deregistered as an NRL agent mate, good luck with that.

The $3m was never offered by R360 - it is a myth. It was a made up sum by the agent when asked by a journo. The agent said it would have to be something crazy like $3m before we even had a serious conversation with someone like R360. The clickbait hacks just ran with that and started talking #### about Haas avoiding tax living in Dubai.

Then the 10-year agent bans came in and it has been tumbleweed since from #### scared agents.

High profile players probably had early discussions but the international union ban scared anyone with a career off. Also, R360 has neither the players nor the finance in place to do all this in 10 months time it is a confidence trick. No teams, no venues, no team owners, no social media and this #### holding web page FFS https://www.r-360.com/

Union teams are not League teams, you need a squad of 35-40 players per team - that's 200-240 players for 6 teams. Players in every specialist positions. Not one news story in England, France, Australia or South Africa has mentioned any high profile players realistically moving.

Agents thought they could use it as a scam to boost up contracts for players like NAS, Grey and Lomax but the 10-year ban on agents is going to hurt their business far more than an individual player. Agents feed journos stories, journos want R360 in the headlines for the pantomime off-season. Hacks like Reid, Weilder, Baddel etc. really should care more about the game and fans that gives them a living on their papers, pods, tv shows and socials.
