The article discusses how the NRL is reportedly planning to target Wallabies players from Rugby Australia. With Rugby Australia facing financial and legal challenges, the NRL sees an opportunity to attract top rugby union talent into rugby league. This move could be significant for both sports, as it could boost the NRL’s talent pool and impact Rugby Australia’s efforts to retain its best players.

Any cap exemptions mentioned ?

Raiding the wallabies before their World Cup ensures it will be a disaster

Yeoweh would never:

What trash they have playing Union.
That`s the third or fourth ex-wallaby captain who has been in trouble with the law over dodgy financial conduct. I know Gregan was in trouble and there was at least one other one.

Going on tour was always going to happen given the stupid amount of money they paid.

But given their itinerary it'll mainly be to get acclimated, rather than any expectation to play. Joe's a smart coach; he wont put him on the pitch until he's ready. He'll be a gun no doubt, its just how quick he gets there.
He's more than ready now.

Don’t be naive. They have a tough tour including games against England who pushed the All Blacks twice this year, and Ireland who’re currently ranked #1 and beat the Boks in SA. Even Scotland aren’t the easy beats they used to be. He will be a very very good player in time, probably sooner rather than later, but its arrogant to think he’s ‘more than ready now’ for that.

How long does it take to learn how to take 3 carries a game and make 7 tackles?

It's not arrogant to point out exactly what he's going to be doing.

Please enlighten me on exactly what it is he needs to learn
Well its either arrogance or ignorance.

By calling it arrogance I’m actually giving you the benefit of the doubt. Because I’m assuming you know better - just as there's more to being a good NRL player than carrying and tackling - but you just choose not to acknowledge it.

Ignorance would be me believing you really don't know squat about union and have chosen to fall back on tired, unoriginal cliches because you don't know any better. Like me calling AFL fumble ball... I don't know enough about the game to even come up with a decent insult.

But if that were the case, trying to enlighten you about what Suaalii needs to learn in his new code would be like trying to teach a dog how to drive. Probably exhausting; definitely pointless.
