He's not good enoughJett Cleary will be ready soon to partner him in the halves
Warriors developing him for you guys
Wouldn’t that make him one of (if not the best) paid wingers in the comp? He’s on 500k vs sualli 850k though his manager is asking for an upgrade to 700k and. A 2 year extension
According to ‘rumours’ Cleary, Ponga and Angus Crichton will all be playing in the 2027 Union World Cup.
It is almost like they need a headline during origin
This isn’t like the old days, even if this happened I’m not sure it’s all that good for union. Their financials are in dire straits and it will cost them a f**king shitload of money luring someone like Cleary across. He seems well suited to union and could possibly give the wallabies a boost if he transitions well but that’s about it.According to ‘rumours’ Cleary, Ponga and Angus Crichton will all be playing in the 2027 Union World Cup.
Spot on mate, I saw their coach on the news, desperately trying to generate a headline for the wallabies, f**king idiots don`t realise all they are doing is making League look like the big dog now.It is almost like they need a headline during origin
Wow if that gets all the top union stars that will be a huge blow to their internationals and the upcoming World CupWasn't sure where to post this, sorry if it's in the wrong thread.

If this happens then the NRL might take a short-term hit but the long-term damage this will do RU will be huge and well worth it from a RL perspective..
A F1 style competition?
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
.
The lead up to a world cup (just over 2 years away in Australia) is the perfect timing for them to launch, depending on the objectives... do they want to be a super league or LIV and try take over the establishment or do they just want a niche tournament? This competition has been in the works for a while, 6 months ago English RU said they won’t select any players who sign with them.
If it happens it’ll be Unions version of the Super League War. It will cripple the international game which is the only thing that keeps Union afloat.
I can’t see it happening, they’ll need half a billion just to sign the top 100 players, stadium rent, accommodation, flights ….ect.
It’s another example of the Union mob under the delusion they are a relevant global sport. The fact they think they’ll sell out stadiums in Barcelona, New York and Berlin is fanciful.
This sounds like a disaster, please do it UnionWasn't sure where to post this, sorry if it's in the wrong thread.
