That was on page 11 of the telegraph sports section. Behind the NRL, AFL, Cricket, swimming and horse racing.

It might big in Sualliis world but not on the radar for the sports fans who click on stories.
Lions tour will get more publicity in England than here

Be interesting to see their numbers against nrl games

I read somewhere tickets were selling pretty well and apparently quite expensive too. A $400 per seat price (at some grounds) was what I read. They'll make some money no doubt, but how much will be left after paying off their debts? And then if they do sign Cleary on a shitload of coin it will just reinforce that they have NFI what they are doing.

It's French club rugby that will be paying his wages.

Nathan doesn't want to waste his prime years.

The toffs will be choking on their cucumber sandwiches and spitting out their pimms over that.

What greater honour could there be representing the Wannabies and in the meanwhile playing in front of 5k for the Warafahs?

As I've said, if he's going to RU it'll be Toulon, Montpellier, Bayonne, Paris or somewhere else in France.

More people will probably have heard of Suaali'i because he's gone to RU, but one of the funny things is the Lions tour is behind a paywall up here. It doesn't make a dent here, it's more or less just for RU people, the RU WC is different.
Shwmae!

Even more so here in Wales with just 2 Welsh RU players called up and the focus on the in-fighting with the WRU and it's teams which will likely come down from 4 to 3 and possibly 2 not before the decade is out.

That's not to say it won't get a level of coverage and make money for the ARU, but the northern summer's sporting 'event' schedule is more full than normal with the women's football Euros and FIFA's wanktastic Club World Cup taking more eyeballs. The Lions Tour will still have it's niche but it is getting crowded out, and I think the tour lengths will get smaller too over time.
