That's some really bad shaky cam footage.. I wonder if there is any more around. When E3 was on, they had some footage of the game on the news which was pretty good quality.

Overall, the game looks pretty good... The graphics have been improved, but I'm more eager to see the improvements in gameplay. They didn't need a complete overhaul, but a few refinements here and there could make RL2 a much better game.

ohhhh Im liking the little pre-game thing with the Bulldogs there.

I'd hate to think of what a realistic one would involve

I was actually a little dissapointed to be honest... it still looks too much like RL1, they still sorta "skate" when running and the tackles all look the same.

Yup, agreed, although I have pre-ordered my copy already, I only did it because EB have a 7 day money back gaurantee..

There seems to be more struggling in the tackles and the passing looks much improved. Now if the rules are accurate and the player stats are vastly improved we will have a good game there.

Passing still looks sh*te and they make an easy break off a scrum.

I'm worried.

Do they have players jumping and contesting the football from the high kick?

I think it looks good, the dummy half passing looks better.

Doesn't look like an improvement at all to me. The tackles all look the same...too many one-on tackles where they just stand there and they don't go to ground - there should be 2 or 3 tacklers in most tackles.
Also, they still run through each other as if they are all ghosts. Not good as it means there are gaps for the ball carrier to run through when there really isn't.

I don't know why so many people are complaining, the first game was pretty good, and this one is looking a bit better which is good to see.

We can't really expect too much from the game, otherwise the quality drops.

It's just that so many people gave advice on how to improve the game, and from that video, they haven't taken much of it.

 the only good thing about it, is that it was a rugby league game

the graphics looked like it was meant for a nintendo

gameplay was awful

Can't really disagree there... most sports games with sh*t gameplay at least have great graphics as a redeeming feature. This one kinda missed the boat on that one too. It provided some drunken entertainment though.

I'm gonna take a look at the whole video today and I'll post my opinions on it later...

and as u can see the general perception of rl1 is that is is a crap game of a great sport

it sold so many copies coz the of sports popularity, not coz of the video games quality

it needed revamping

and it hasnt been revamped........ just dollied up.....just the same as cricket 2005 from cricket 2002, and 2004........same sh*t game, dollied up features and graphics.............we want engine overhaul!!!!!!!!
