It is tragic that the Tigers don't play more often in the beautiful jersey they had yesterday and wear something inferior just to not offend a few morons.

I wish they'd play in their traditional jerseys (both Wests and Balmain) more often.

Why can't they have one as a home jersey and the other as the away and alternate every year?

It would be so much better than their usual junk.

It was their world cup jersey for 1995. Silver fern (!) design. Looking at it, there is a part of the chevron still there (or a hint) on one side with the fern making up the other side. Pretty fugly, that said.

From memory they didn't wear it in their non-WC tests that year.

Going by the magpie emblem - it would be late 60s or early 70s as I'm sure the emblem changed in the mid to late 70s.

It is a great jersey.

Any of these would be awesome Pirates jerseys, but a have a fear that they will just go with some bad V design.

That bottom one is my personal favourite. Swap out the blue for gold (say it represents they sun or something) and i imagine thats the best the Pirates bid could produce.

Agreed, I think a return to these colours would be a good idea. If not, I would really like to see the white version as a heritage jersey one year.
