How does the game handle with 2, 3, or 4 people playing?

It would be nice if the patch made it so that created players can actually get picked in rep teams during career.

my created player made country in season 6,aust in season 7 and nsw all 3 games season 7

i just finished my 6th season, Thurston (who was my halfback) just retired at 35 years old to move on and become a coach. Fair enough.

elsewhere in the league Nathan Hindmarsh is going around again in season 7 for the Warriors at age 38, while at the Tigers Luke Burt is 37 and has been a staple of the NSW origin team the last 3 or so seasons, and there's at least 4 Ben Smiths scattered throughout various teams in the NRL.

my current squad features Hayne at fullback, Uate, Williams (wolfman), Jennings, and Inglis in the 3/4's, my halves are Maloney and Pearce, while my only real experienced forward is Reni Matuia at age 35.

I'm still loving this game, Im in my 9th year of franchise with the Raiders.

Anyone else have players disappear from the game during your franchise careers, I noticed after 3 or 4 years of my franchise Thurston and Bowen were gone from the Cowboys and from the game, not sure if they retired or went to the ESL, and then I noticed Adam Reynolds was gone, that was weird.

Another thing I found strange is the Toyota Cup players don't start to age until you sign them to a NRL squad, I've signed a heap of young 20's players in recent season and they are all still 19 or 20, this was in like 2018.

I think players retiring in their late 30's and NYC players not ageing is to do with the game standing up over a period on time. The old rugby league games on ps2 had superstars like johns retiring after a couple of seasons and generic players replacing them. By the 5th year your team was half fake players... kinda killed the vibe of the game... well at least it was one of the 900 things that killed it. And with the NYC players, if you're playing the game in, say, 3 years time, some of those guys will be mainstays of first grade teams. You can then sign them and keep them for a longer period of time... well that's my take on it anyway

Made custom players for the NRL, so more keen to see what the squads are and who's been left out.

Ended up buying the game from ozgameshop last week, can't wait to get it. What does the patch actually detail (not talking about updated team rosters, jerseys etc), like any gameplay bug fixes or anything?

Yeah but HES/Bigant they don't release a list of bug fixes, at least they didn't with the last patch anyway. Intercepts were noticeably toned down & the dummy half throw to the touch judge was fixed but other than that its guess work. Enjoy the game.

Yeah. Playing in my career Cordner and Tuivasa-Sheck have grown massively. It was said somewhere that the younger players grow at a faster rate.

First thing I've noticed with the new patch is player positions have changed

So chris mcQueen was primarily a winger before now he is a prefered second rower as is Matt Ryan so that's good
