once one EB store knows another has broken the street date (pic for proof eg) they have no reason not to release it. it will be given out tomorrow

Played it earlier today, very fun game. Steep learning curve, the guy I was playing had been on it for about 5 hours, ripped me apart lol.

Also I did not notice any button lag.

A lot of people complained that there were too many intercepts, since I'm fairly shit I threw a few but the dude I played had me on the ropes just doing the one out stuff.

I played it on ps3 incase anyone cares lol.

Oh by the way the only real issue I had was the god awful commentry.

We did not play single player so I cannot comment on the ai.

I'll have my copy tomorrow, the amount of preorders, basically meant I couldn't get it today incase it broke the street date so tomorrow more stock from the warehouse arrives.

A few things to note.

I found it more fun than rugby challange. Probably because its a league game but it had a similar feel.

Goal kicking is too easy.. All our conversions were kicked.

Tackling and defending will likely take the longest to adjust. The tackle variations are awesome but sometimes it just does not matter, a player will break through several attempts. In one game Paul Gallen broke at least 6 tackles. All he did was do the fend. Even though there are gang tackles, sometimes the team mates do there own thing.

Having said, that did not happen every hitup, but at least once a game someone turned into superman.

Line breaks are awesome, especially when the defending line starts to fall apart. You can literally plan to target holes.

The fatigue is crazy. We did not do any subs, and by the 60th minute everyone was gased out.

Is this worth our money? Yes. I played it for about an hour or two, and cannot wait to pick it up. The feet game I played a single match before retuning it.

Heard that this game cost 5 million to make, apparently they invested a lot more and it was a huge gamble but they have already turned a profit.

Sucks watching everyone else get hyped up when knowing deep down I need to save my dosh. :lol:

Ever since Sidhe's original game, I've done all I can to buy League games as soon as they're available but I'm going to have to wait a couple of weeks until I get my hands on the game.

So az you'll have to cross me off this current PS3 competition.

With that said, really look forward to hearing impressions and if anyone has the time would love to see the Broncos squads and the custom stats. so I can work on creating players for the club.

Hopefully your impression stays the same by the end of the week. I remember your first impressions of the past games were usually quite positive before being anything but! :lol:

Hey guys! I'm the guy who got it early and have the pics to azsportza, if you guys have any questions I'm happy to answer them, except which exact store I got it from, just been playing it for 7 hours and have had a play with pretty much all the modes,

Game is awesome but the controls for kicking have been revamped as has the "select nearest player button, now L2 instead of square,

The only thing I don't like is tackle and kick are both X and O on ps3 so many times I went for a tackle and ended up getting an intercept and kicking it immediately afterwards!

It's a learning curve i suppose

As to the complaint about the awful commentary, I haven't played it but it seems like rehashed versions of the previous games. For mine, no game will feel "league enough" without rabs and sterlo. Maybe it would cost too much to get them to do it, but jeez I think they couldn't go wrong. No more vossy in the next one please!

Picked mine up... now I have a whole day of work and an evening of social events before i can get home to play it...

Comes with a 28 page instruction book which was one of the things I was hoping for lol
