Maybe Gus will hire Garth Brennan. He wraps all the time on Twitter. Madge can go to Newcastle and Rusty can finally fulfill his dream to coach the Rabbitohs.

Wouldn't surprise me. Not to worried if he goes.

We will most likely go after Brown or Toovey if he f**ks off.

Get Maloney to renege on the Sharks and Bob's your uncle . . . with him, Cleary, Luke and RTS they might make the finals

On the face of it, it wouldn't be a bad gig to get handed would it? Go and coach a team with a 1,6,7 and 9 made up of RTS, Lolohea, Johnson and Isaac Luke...

This spine isn't that far behind. Ivan will finish what he started here, only injuries held us back this year.

As a sport we need NZ to be stronger than it is - with a view to getting a second team over there within the next five years. With that in mind, I'd love to see Bellamy made an offer he couldn't refuse. He would get maximum out of the Warriors' list. RL needs to grow, not stagnate, and taking a bigger bite out of the NZ market would be a good start.

Particularly as Cleary is one of the few coaches who seems to know how to get results in Auckland. I doubt too many Warriors fans would mind.

At any rate, I don't think McFadden is up to it. 2 years on his contract to go and hard to see him finishing it if there's a repeat of this years collapse

Meh.

Come round 1 next year Cleary will be coaching the Panthers, McFadden the Warriors. Don't think there's much to this rumour tbh, but we'll see.

That's a shit spine!

1. Winger at best... Overrated!
6. Fullback not a 5/8... Hopeless defence!
7.
9. Seg Thinks he's the best...

This has been popping up for a bit so im not convinced but it would be disappointing to lose Cleary. His son is looking like a very good young half as well.

I think if Cleary does leave then Brennan will get a shot. You cant do much more in the lower leagues then what he has done. NYC prem 13, NSW Cup prem 14 and only just missed the minor premiership this year. He helped bring through a lot of the younger players we have so it would make sense for him to replace Cleary if that becomes necessary.

I think McFadden deserves the chance to see what he can do with a decent roster.

But when you look at the Warriors, it is hard to see why they don't get better results.

The only thing I can put it down to is, they leak too many points.

They are going to have a top quality spine next year, but they still need to improve the defense.

The problems could be partially injuries, but it is also having the right balance in the squad.

Next year they may be a team that scores a lot of points, but they could also leak a lot of points.

They are overdue for one really good year, personally I would like to see them finish top 4 next year.
