The more i think about it (and after watching the video announcement of the extension) the more i think it was journo speculation: 'hey, this guy hasn't signed an extension yet and it's nearly the end of October, obviously the Bears would be keen, but let me ask my mate at the Dragons whether they'd be keen if he was available, hur, hur, hur.'

Yes good point and yea pretty sure you're spot on, top 30 is full.

But then thinking about guys who don't have deals for '27 and the club could be open to releasing early - Freddy fits that bill.

Bizarrely he seems to be more middle than hooker these days, and it would make sense to fill his spot with a pure middle anyway, whether that's NAS or anyone else.

Didnt know about the family connection, that's pretty cool. I remember the young fella had good raps on him a couple years back before he did his knee. Shame he didn't kick on this year, but obviously heading to a successful system now so hopefully he kicks on there.

Starting to think there's some kind of tacit arrangement between our two clubs... Jett comes over here, and now Moimoi joining Ale and Going heading the other way.
