I don't really get the coach part in the Lion's post.

A previous coach.....of the Warriors?? We've had two successful coaches, one is unavailable, the other would have to do some serious hurdle work to get sanctioned by the NRL.

Previous coach is Daniel Anderson, the other coach recently on the market.

wouldn't the dogs have to top up eastwoods deal if we got him

Absolutely. If the rumour about Graham's contract with the Dragons is true, I don't see why they wouldn't pay us to take him. Knowing us though, we'd f**k it up and end up paying them to take him off their hands.

Figured it would be Anderson, but that's going to be a tough sell to the NRL I imagine.

Guessing the other one is Neil Henry if we're talking about recently on the market coaches, although Toovey is leaving Bradford too if you're just throwing a curveball.

then why would a potential new owner say Kearney is not his preferred option as coach. weird

The contract would still be valid. The new owner would have to negotiate a settlement to end the contract.

All players and coaches etc are contracted to the Warriors. Not to Eric Watson per se. The new owner would be taking on those obligations.

Davys is full of sh@t with his story in the media. He got out bid. The new potential buyer has offered Eric the full $20m. He wants the board gone so Doyle will have to agree to give up his share and pack his bags and go if successful.

The new buyer also has two coaches in mind and SK is NOT one of them. One is a previous coach and the other is certainly 100% on the market currently.

The new buyers name ? ........ Bob the builder and the emperors new clothes ...... Both relate to him.

And you've just insinuated that Daniel Anderson - or John Monie - is coming back to coach. That certainly makes your Matai and Watmough comments seem plausible.

If new owners come in and pay $20m, surely pissing off SK - and the payout of surely $1m max - is a worthwhile spend as well?

You don't buy a building and keep the same old shitty furniture if you're looking to make an impression.

Yep, "just noticeable difference" and Kearney clearly needs the push, new owner is a good time, they are not part of the old regime

Think Iron Lion has topped his Watmough and Matai are signed posts with Daniel Anderson - while I'd love to see him coaching us, the NRL might be grizzly - then again, they're pretty two faced with what Bellamy (salary cap) and Bennett (sweeping issues under the carpet) have gotten away with.

PLEASE _ PLEASE _ PLEASE

Read my post correctly, I did not say one of them are coming back I said they are the two preferred coaching options for 2018 from the potential new buyer.

And I don't care what you think Warriors 100% had Letters of Intent signed with Watmough and Matai. There has been many players signed on LOI's in the past. But you would have to have some understanding of how business operations work Penrose Warrior to know that. Also it is common knowledge within the Warriors camp the warriors went all out to try and grab Watmough on a 2 year deal with 1 year in the clubs favor following.

You will know I speak the truth when Robert - Business on the North Shore is named as most likely candidate to buy the Warriors shortly in the media. If Eric is serious about selling the club

Would we or have we looked at Jack Stockwell? On the outer at the Knights and has some decent size and experience in FG

I know we suck, and suck badly, but why would we sign a prop for Howick? Stockwell is stock-awful.

Awesome. I should see him around at Mounties gym as he plays his reserve grade trade.

In all seriousness, why did he barely play the second half? I thought he was for once making an impact.
