I'm open to JAC coming over if he changes his stance and admits his wrongdoing. This could then serve as a valuable tool to keep our emerging talent in check as they rise through the ranks. We all know that many of our young players come from disadvantaged backgrounds, some with connections to criminal elements within their family or friend circles.

At this point, it's a firm no until JAC is honest about his actions and seeks the help he clearly needs.

How much would JAC be worth if we decided to make a play for him? I'm sure we'd prefer to spend our money wisely and hold out for a halfback, as we're already well covered in the forwards and backs. Another option in the halves would be ideal.

Yea that wasnt great; his father in law did some good things but that wasn't one of them. He signed AFB too.

Agree, he's got the onfield runs on the board for sure. But he (and Dallin) will be 30 next year, that feels back end for a specialist winger, especially if outright pace is your biggest weapon.

If we were shopping for a wing I'd be looking for someone earlier in their career. That recent herald article about potential targets mentions Mulitalo who I reckon would be a great score.

how about Grant Anderson? He looked good while Coates was out but with Will warbrick asserting himself there, he might be struggling to get a run. He might be at a reasonable cost. Of course moving to NZ is always the big issue and usually takes a gold plated carrot to get them to come. Look at DWZ salary...

Hopefully we're trying to uncover our own Will Warbrick. With a proper Cup team in place there's a pathway for developing a convert. Be a lot cheaper and there's some good ones worth looking at in the 7s program. Those guys are as fit as mountain goats and I think the Storm were actually targeting another one recently.

Ive never understood how the Warriors have failed to find a fijian winger worth his salt at league. Look at all the fijians that have played for the ABs. Is that the main factor?They all want to play Union?

Hasn't been through lack of trying - we had Junior Ratuva and Selesitino Ravutaumada and let them both go without playing a first grade match between them. Both went to Union, but only after we had ditched them.

I don't think Ratuva has amounted to much yet, but Ravutaumada has played for Fiji which is no mean feat these days. He started for Fiji when they beat England at Twickenham last year. He was a Junior Kiwi so it feels like we missed one there.

Yep, and recently extended to 2027 and elevated to top 30, so hopefully might see first grade next season
