Anderson was here to win premierships with the team that had made the finals three out of the previous four years. Kearney came in to rebuild the structures that had been neglected since Smith left.

Two different jobs, two different measures of effectiveness.

But you already knew that. ;-)

What was ando thinking. What a f**kwit, fancy coming here to win a comp. he should of neglected the first grade team, and worried about SG ball.... oh wait.

No one is immune. My opinion is that Hindmarsh should have retired 2009 he is past it, and IMO offers nothing in terms of helping out other players. If someone else made that terrible attempted offload 5 metres out after all those repeat sets, he would have acted like a f**kwit in terms of body language and offer thinly veiled criticism to the player in a post match interview. I feel that since 2007 he has done his best to erode the confidence of younger emerging players.

How can you say that? He made 50 tackles! He lost two grand finals! His favourite coach is Brian Smith! He bleeds blue and gold.

The best way to motivate young people is by getting pissed off at them. Everyone knows that.

Hindy is a legend and still performs better than most of our pack despite his age. We'll miss him next year. I can understand how he'd be frustrated given the lack of effort some of these young nuffies put in.

It wasn't his call, the reason he came here.

He was brought here for instant success, we went close, it was determined that the squad was on its last legs, he was replaced with someone who claimed he could rebuild the club.

Ask your cousin if you don't believe me.

So Anderson came to win a premiership and prob should have in 09, but this spastic says he has a 5 yr plan and therfore should be immune regardless of results (9 from 40) and therefore safe, may go into work tomorrow and tell my employer that I will peak in about 3 to 4 years so be patient and dont even think of sacking me, get your hand of it mate, please.

Shit analogy.

If you were given three to four years to develop an old property, surely then your boss wouldn't expect it to peak for the three to four years you agreed on.

And that first year would involve knocking down all the old buildings while keeping the facades (because Luke Burt is heritage listed).

That's how you do an analogy.

And the only thing that stopped Anderson winning a premiership was a cheating side, but do tell me how SK is better.

#FMDYouHaveNFI

And how about 2010 when the only team to beat us in finals football since 2005 were stripped of their points? That was the perfect opportunity to win a competition.

But we know for a fact the board were interfering with the team back then, right? Well given Luke Burt has a mortgage on a position in the current team, it's pretty clear the board are interfering with this coach too.

what will all the hindmarsh and burt haters have to whine about when they are gone?

Don't forget Justin Poore.

Really, there will be no shortage of players to whine about - we can see which ones aren't delivering on the field.

Reni Maitua has missed a f**kload of tackles these past couple of weeks, though it could be a timing issue - he has only played five games since April. But if he doesn't pick up his act he will be on the shit list too.

I know this isn't the point and I know your not saying Matuia is a bad defender but even though he missed 8 tackles last week this doesn't indicate how good he is defending on tha left edge.

Now he is one player that comes out of the line to smash forwards but unlike someone like Blair, he does it more in the middle of the field when their are defenders around him to clean it up. This is controlled aggression but of course this style of play is going to lead to more missed tackles. The stats also don't tell you about the 2-3 cover tackles he made and how he slides well across field to shut down an opposition raid even if he doesn't physically make a tackle. Compare this 3 miss tackles Morgan made but between him and Sio they let in 5 of the 6 tries (Barba, 2 to Morris and Wright). While Morgan didn't miss the tackles his poor positions creates the over lap and its as easy as through the hands.

Best post ever. A coach shouldn't be judged on whether the team wins games. Running dead last shouldn't be held against him. His three biggest signings playing like busteds shouldn't be held against him. Having an improved squad that gets worse results shouldn't be held against him.

Best. Post. Ever.

He`s made some other good ones, too, you know.

I suspect that the 're-building' of the club is a myth that a lot of people have fallen for. For f*ck`s sake, every coach has a five-year plan - or a four year plan or a six year plan or a three year plan. Kearney has supposedly gotten rid of some dead-wood, but no more than his predecessor. And he`s managed to sign some young players and re-sign some others. So what? What coach doesn`t do that?

Of course Reni is being used as a shooter, which is the best way to protect Sandow in the line. It's no coincidence that he's missed 6 and then 8 tackles since having Sandow positioned outside him in defence.

Morgan reads the defence just fine. He can't just sit on his opposite number all game; he has to adjust to the men inside him or the breaks will be made there instead.

Against the Bulldogs we had to compress tightly because of that Barba-running-behind-his-own-man play. As Jason Taylor said, it's indefensible because it's illegal.

Morgan has copped a bad rap for having to defend next to Sandow earlier in the year, but being used as a shooter makes everyone look bad - it happened to Blair when he played right centre, and even Willie Tonga (a good defender, whatever people say about his attack) was left in no man's land a few times recently. Now it's happening to Maitua.

The only player who does it well is Ben Smith.

Would you say all coaches have the same rebuilding plan? Would you say they are equally as effective at implementing those rebuilding plans?

Is Gus a f**kwit for saying the Panthers need to be rebuilt? The Panthers (and us) are shedding players mid-contract, while clubs like the Bulldogs are signing them.

Do you think it's possible clubs are at different stages of development and maybe attempting to achieve different short-term goals?

Why do you think Ricky Stuart said that he will only go to a club that can be successful straight away? Isn't success all down to the coach?
