I am not convinced by Katoa or Egan either. I would rather the club recruit an experienced hooker for next year.

Well Maloney should have been hooked well before halftime in the Sharks semi but lets hope hes not that bad regularly

ATM no we are a top 8 team but not a top 4 team

The comp is weak, we can definitely make the top 4.

Plenty of options.
I think we could get away with him for a 20 minute spell at hooker. I don't think he would do any worse than May. I am not convinced on a Katoa Egan combo.
If Maloney's body is still playing up next year sub him on for him.

He could cover the backs or the halves. The rest of the bench would cover the forwards.
I think we need to get him in the team to keep him and have a potential explosive player coming off the bench.
If his form is good in the pre season we may be forced to find a place in fg for him.

If May plays any minutes at hooker, we've f**ked up somewhere along the line, because he is terrible there. People complain Egan doesn't pass off the ground, but at least he's not looping nothing passes above players' heads.

There are 15 inferior teams to us next season. So it will appear to be weak regardless.
