Just need our fowards to really rip in and we should have enough to beat the Tits
You'd think if he could play the Wed then the Friday would be no issue but don't want to make it worse
I hope we're not just expecting to show up and belt the Titans. We thought it was a gimmie game in round 5 as well.
I'd love to put 40 on them as much as anyone but I'd take a 19-18 thriller with a Maloney field goal if you offered it to me. We just need to keep winning.
Have to feel sorry for Garth Brennan.
Having your first head coaching gig at an underachieving club such as the Titans was always going to be a poisoned chalice.
He has made mistakes clearly but I hope they stick with him for 2020 as his strengths are in cultivating and developing juniors and the Titans have a wealth of top prospects in there junior ranks at present.
There is no doubt he can coach and is a quality person but my gut feeling is the writing is on the wall and he will be shown the door before the end of this season.
After five rounds of this current season, Nathan Brown was a firm favourite for being the first coach sacked and looked how things have turned around for Nathan, his team and the club.
The Titans should show some ‘balls’ in my opinion and put some faith in Garth even if he has lost the faith of the members, fans and sponsors. Things can and often do change quickly.

I'd almost look to put a backrower at 6 - maybe Cartwright (bring back the good old days) & even my man Katoa. Pending Blore being ready, haven't seen enough of him.

@OldPanther I'd rather another forward at 6 who runs & occasionally passes lock then someone attempting to play a normal 5/8th role.
You'd need to start Egan at 9 for it to work, as you need another kicking option.
Never disrespect your opponent.
Would we do it against the Roosters? How's that disrespecting your opponent though?
Would we do it against the Roosters?
Do the Roosters have the same squad as the Titans?
Do you have the same game plan for every side you come up against?
How's that disrespecting your opponent though? It's just thinking outside the square. There's no rule saying you need to play a certain way. If you want to play a forward dominated game because you think it gives you the best chance of winning, do it.
I don't mind Martie's idea. It's not unheard of and we've seen it as rep level many times before.
You won't need much creativity against the Titans. They are close to the worst defensive side in the comp. They will leak a lot of points on the edges. This should be a 13+ victory and we desperately need it.
Kikau hat trick is a big chance. If you are the betting type then lay some money down on that.
I'm not sure that Luai is up to being the only half at NRL level.
Luia controlled the game against the warriors last year in only his second NRL match. Tyrone May was at 5/8, but he’s not an organising half.
