Curtis Scot....the raiders will be filthy at him, he wont be playing this season at all I suspect.
He opened up about his depression and anxiety just in October, spoke about how Sydney wasn't a good place for him....and then he spends all day at the Ivy getting pissed, its just an incredibly stupid decision. The mental health card will be played again like clockwork to get some sympathy, but depression doesn't make you fight cops, being a dickhead does that.
Having personal experience I wholeheartedly disagree.

Cool mate, lots of people have experience with depression and anxiety, lots of people.
I understand where your coming from but (1) rightly on wrongly the card referred to above will almost certainly be played (2) Police Officers are not punching bags regardless of the plight of the person who assaults them and they deserved to be and should be supported by the Justice System (3) Sadly, Police Officers are rarely supported by the Justice System which allows people to treat them as punching bags and largely get away with it. (4). I don’t know how much footy Curtis Scott will be playing this season, time will tell I guess, but hopefully the whole incident is captured on CCTV the Police Officers would have been wearing and or the video from the deployment of the Taser so there should be little doubt as to what did or did not occur.

I think I know what's happening. I think punishment should be handed down. I wasn't arguing that part.

Mate, I’m not advocating Curtis Scott should be looking at a prison sentence, far from it.
I was more referring to those members of society of are frequently involved in the assault of our law enforcement officials and nothing ever seems to happen to them.
Curtis Scott won’t go to prison, neither will our own Tyrone May they will receive leniency GB bonds no doubt.
All good, hope for his sake (Curtis Scott) learns something from his abhorrent behaviour and comes out a better person on the other side. Everyone make mistakes I understand that.
I agree with you on all of that.
I suspect there'll be community service type punishment and mental health treatment for him.
But will he get stood down for 12 months like May? Unlikely!
No it’s was Greenberg that stood May down. So will be the same with Scott, and Reynolds as well no doubt.Didn't Panthers stand down May? Raiders will likely do something but we'll have to wait and see.

It was just bad timing for him. NRL have stopped banning players now it seems
Tyrone's problem has been the length of time this has taken to get through the legal system. It might not be over yet either. 12 months is pretty harsh but maybe they'll add a bit more to it. We can only hope not.But will he get stood down for 12 months like May? Unlikely!
I’d be very surprised if Scott and Reynolds aren’t stood down by NRL before the start of the season.
Reynolds definitely will be, with it being DV related and the NRL’s recent zero tolerance policy for DV related charges.
