I’d be very surprised if May goes to another club, even for more money. He is very good friends with Cleary (they live together) and I am sure he feels like he owes the club after sticking with him during the criminal proceeding. I am not saying it couldn’t happen, but I’d be very surprised if he left.

Who would blame him? The physical pain they endure over a long career is incredible. So many reconstructions, broken bones, massive corks, stretched ligaments, torn tendons, they deserve every penny they get.

I agree with all of what you posted. My point was that compared to the other players, he looked completely cooked.

Maybe not right now, but I think there’s easier paths to a fullback role than through Edwards. Dylan I reckon probably ranks around 6th-8th best fullback.

He has gone up a level this year. If he could develop a passing game he could be top 5. Rest of his game is sound.

Too hard to tell at the moment. A lot of silliness is coming out of his manager.

The 500k reported would be laughed at by every club with half a brain. Keeping in mind D.Brown got around that and is one of the hottest young talents in the halves for a while. This guy plays wing.
Burton could maybe have a weak club like the Dogs pay him this amount. Or Brisbane who would need him. But not Staines.
I would imagine 250-300k would b a fair amount.

Plenty of guys look good early and clubs know that. Look at Sivo. World beater last season. Now oppositons have worked out his flaws and needs to be dropped. Along with Waqa Blake. Both average and hugely overpaid.

If another clubs wants to risk paying Staines 500k let them. Strong clubs like Penrith do not need to take these risks. Honestly I reckon Korisau wouldn't be on a whole lot more then 500-600k. Just think about that.

Yes, I understood that. Unlike the other players he is at the end of his career and has been prone to injury all through it. His body has had a "hard life".

What on earth happened to those two? It’s quite surreal that 12 months ago we had Parra fans thanking us for the mistake in letting both these blokes go to Parra and literally 12 months later, they’re no longer darlings and need to go!!

I have said Sivo isn't a loss. Lacks the basics but Blake is the head scratcher

I got a bit caught up in the early Blake hype. He certainly hasn’t reached the level I thought we would and maybe I’m wrong but he even seems to have lost a yard or two of pace. The flaws we are currently seeing in Sivo’s game are basically the same flaws that prevented Griffin giving him a debut. Still at the end of the day he still has scored a lot of tries for the Eels even if most are from close range.

He fits in well over there. Does the flashy stuff well but skips the tough stuff

If he goes, there has been talk of bringing in a toiler. Someone cheapish and preferably experienced.

and that could and would work very well.

I am so impressed with Moses Leota. I'll admit he's been a favourite player of mine for a long long time. Moses looks to have dropped some weight, and he's been showing some footwork and speed.

In 2020 he like many others has gone to another level.
