It should be renamed "a whole bunch of people who want exactly the same thing, bickering like bitches"

My point is that they're fit and playing in the NSW cup. Naiqama has effectively been dropped as he wasn't called back once fit. Can you imagine Purtell being demoted to Windsor like that?
Purtell was a superstar compared to Wes. That's how awful Wes is.

:lol::lol:

We won games while Purtell was here but overall it's a hard choice

Going off topic here, but I really do attribute Purtell directly with a number of our losses in 2010. He wasn't a great winger but he was an absolutely abysmal center. It meant a lot more back then too with the team being a genuine contender, unlike this year.

Didn't we have a game with Simmons and Purtell in the team? Pre this year decent Simmons

This is making my head hurt. Like I said I don't know how it works, at all.

I think its fair to say your statement that it would be easy to get is just speculation, which is what kicked off this little argument.

To say it is fact is silly.

To say you have no idea how it works but then continue to argue the point is silly.

The problem with the Moylan cap issue was convincing the NRL that there were no other fullbacks available in the top 25. NRL said Wes was a fullback and we were forced to drop Moylan that week. Panthers had to provide sufficient evidence that neither Wes or any other player in the top 25 were a fullback in order to get the exemption, that was the hard part.

Yeah Franklin already went through that.

So if it was hard to get Moylan one, why would it be easy to get further exemptions?

We have named a squad of 17 with a full forward pack, so how do we prove we don't have anyone to play in those forward positions when we cleary do? At the very least it would not be easy.

I think its like most things, if you try to be honest and do it the right way = not easy

Rort the system, lie, cheat and do whatever it takes = easier

It just sucks balls that we don't get a chance to see some new faces get a run before next season. Reality is, Ivan will probably go the safe option early next season and start with a solid squad (which I think anyone would do to start the year and it makes sense). I just hope if things are not looking good after 6 or so rounds he is not hesitant to make changes where and when they are needed.

I agree. Not saying it's a bad thing IF we are winning games. Just I think the same will happen

Hey...thought i heard Austin had gone to the tigers on the radio yesterday.
To confirm it came here because you guys are always on top of the issues.

Hell havent you all covered the subject. Fascinating reading actually.

Well Austin gone...always thought he was going to make it but maybe those on the inside know more than we do. Hope he does well...except against us

One thing I am certain of is that Cartwright will be a star.
He will be the rock of a decade of success for the panthers.
Well unless the roosters pinch him...then i will go completely crazy.

Im upset about Austin but I think Peachy and Taylor have his roll filled. Hope he kills it for the tigpies but not enough to beat us

Think it is just a bit of insurance in case Trent Barrett gets a gig somewhere as a head coach. Otherwise he is a great person to have in the community and promoting Panthers I would imagine.
