in defence of the current coaching staff there wasn't much left in the market to buy in the way of players when they were given the job. But our CEO had the whole of season 2010 to sign players but it didn't happen.

Unfortunately for him he wasn't given the opportunity to spend the cap space and form a team to his style. The writing was on the board from about August and it has been reported that DA, lost control of recruitment around this time. It was also reported here he only received full control around February of last season as well, so only had 9 months in full control.

Im not argueing whether they were good decisions or not. Im arguing that DA had the say in all recuitment (signings and releases) over 2009/2010 besides probably Tahu.

Quade Cooper doesn't count because he never signed.

If you can point out some other signings that Ando didn't want please enlighten us
