Norman is a lot better defender than Sandow you twit.
Fact is teams base there attack knowing sandow is weak.If we had a second rower who was a brilliant defender than maybe we could get away with sandow

Fair enough. The Titans priority would probably be to keep Sezer I'm thinking though in the first instance. Sezer appears to be waiting to see what Manly, Hodkinson and Maloney are up to.

Hasn't Sezer stopped negotiations with Titans? Hence the interest in Norman

Sezer is such a good player don't know why they would go for Norman.

Yeah I would. I rate Sezer good all round game and can kick goals.

Sezer is very inconsistent. He can do some really great things, but then he can cost you big time with some of his other not so great efforts. Or he just zones out of games completely and he has been known to miss some crucial tackles.

Both Sandow and Norman are better players then he is, so why would you trade either of ours for him?

It looks to me like the Titans are adopting a similar approach to us in saying if you want to play with our marquee half you will be prepared to accept less than your market value. Maybe the next domino does depend on Maloney resigning with the chooks, maybe the Titans are leveraging on Norman possibly being squeezed out by us as the the spare wheel so they can leverage a better deal. It will be interesting to see how the musical chairs game ends

I actually think Sandow has improved his defence this year. Putting his body on the line a lot more, and coming up with quite a few very good tackles around the legs on bigger opponents.

Maybe so be he is still the worst defender in our team, i think a Norman-Foran combo with Norman on the right can be lethal. Both have good running games, both are good short and long passes of the ball with foran having the best short game in the NRL (or at worst just behind JT). Norman has improved his kicking this year back to what it was at brizzy. While we lose the balance of having sandow nippy runs we gain more on in other areas in attack.

It is interesting to see what happens. Hodkinson and Maloney are the two everyone appears to be waiting on making a decision, but I would be surprised if either left their current club. This puts Sezer and to a certain respect Sandow, in the 'box' seat with a number of clubs.

Not convinced Sandow is the answer at 7....

Too many games a year where he doesnt show up for some mental reason. A lot of other games where he is a complete liability and ruins the whole right edge defensive structure.

Dunno what other options are put there though

Norman on the left and Foran on the right.

Both Foran and Norman do take on the line enough for it to be a threat though.

Absolutely, thats the only advantage of sandow over norman is his nippy runs and if anything that may detract from foran. Norman and Foran i think provide a more balanced attack with both having similar strengths and well rounded games.

Foran's first instinct is always to go forward. This will be hugely beneficial for a team known for not going forward.

Fo sho!

He has the (rare) ability to play 'late in the line' with his passing game. The last 2 years I've noticed his play before the line has improved.

maloney is sure to re-sign simply because if the chooks wanted foran they'd have him by now, pearce would have loved his mate there, but he knew the club probably saw better value for money in keeping maloney on potential unders, if not reverting to a solid plan b being jackson hastings

the dogs on the other hand have a bloke further developed than hastings in moses mbye starting to hit his straps, so i could see hodkinson leaving for that reason.
