What if Nathan asked for extra years? What if his Dad did aswell? Imagine panthers saying no and both wanting out early because of it... one good way from going premiership favs every year for the next 5 years or hardly making the top 8 without him and his dad! It's that big.
Asked because he's unsure of his body maybe......

I'm 100% doing whatever deal they want but it's a calculated risk

It's been mentioned previously by others including players and media that Nathan is the 1st onto the training paddock and the last off. While not being a doctor, after the latest hammy incident, Nathan identified that he probably has to train less to manage the risk of injury. Interesting to see if this makes a difference to the number or frequency of hammy issues.

Only on a Panthers forum could the stability associated with signing the world’s best player and best culture creator in the game to long term contracts be met with cynicism.

Exactly. Sometimes this forum and it's carry on by a couple of posters leave me without speech.

Penrith going through a time which most other clubs could only ever dream about.

Carrying on about extending the current world's bsat half back and coach........

The mind boggles.

Some of you don't deserve nice things.

Nathan is the world's best player but his hammy also keeps going. No one is saying not to sign him.
Hopefully the club can get a few injury clauses into the contract but as a pair with his dad I think they'll have too much power.

He's 26. Naths next 5 should be his prime years. Would be incredible business locking the game's best player (not to mention the coach) for that length of time.

Ivan has developed brilliantly but Wayne is still the best coach in the game. What he's doing with the Redcliffe is simply incredible
