@Blade23 hey Blade has Paul Alamoti actually Re-signed? Still says he’s out of contract at end of this season 2024 is there any update?

He posted before the finals that Alamoti had extended for a further year. But the club were hoping to add a few more years to his deal.
Sounds like its not far off.

I just saw 360 from last nite, Rothfield said he’d spoken to his manager Michael Hudson, he agreed to 12 mths then a further 2 more yrs so he’s here until end of 2027, good news.

Sommerton is staying.

Alamoti agreed to terms for a further year months ago. After May's departure they have been looking to extend him further than that. If they don’t get it done soon they will look at it again after the finals.

Well I was right about Alamoti becoming a star in our side. Go back to the start of the season and you'll see my comments. I said he will be a star and that he will take T May's spot (this was before May got in trouble) I said how much the bulldogs rated him but let him go because of Critter going there.

For 1/4 of the price of Critter he is easily the better player out of the two on price and ability. Think if Critter is on 1mill a year Alamoti is worth at least 600k.

Alamotti came to us as, inexperienced, raw, potential but had issues with defence. less than 12 months in our systems and he has played a major role in a grand final win and now suits up for Tonga.

Next project is Blaize Talagi. Lets not judge his signing until we've had a chance to do the same with him.

16 - Ryda Talagi (NSWCHS)​

Talk about upsize.

This kid, or young man we should say, is a giant with the mobility of an outside back.

The imposing Westfields Sports High School, Fairfield West senior is the type of player you hope doesn’t return the ball from the back fence because if he does, your shoulders will be sore.

The thunderous forward only turned 17 earlier this year and has the body made for the biggest stage, so watch this space.

On NRL360 the other night I think they said Alamoti signed with us for $250k. Assuming that will go up after how he played this year.
