Does/did he play in the Hills district? A mate of mine from the area was raving about a lock (albeit he did say lacked size) and the name Tyson rings a bell. Assume it must be the same kid?

Aus schoolboy players are the exact kimd of players we should be going after.

Yes its still hit and miss but you only have to look at past aus schoolboy teams to see probably at the very least half go on to be very successful nrl players.

I just looked a a completley random year being 2017 team.

10 of the 17 have gone on to be extremley successful in the nrl. With a good portion going on to play international and origin.

Most aus schoolboy teams are a similar ratio.

I havent seen this kid play but these are smart signings.

Thompson is OK but hardly what we need value wise IMO. Being over hyped because he's from a meh team and is slightly above meh level and off-contract.

Telecrap says he will go to market Nov 1. He will be on rep duty and a decision won't be rushed. His brother will be at the Knights next year.
