I dont particularly rate Blaize all I'm saying it the club signed him to play 6. Anything else is illogical
Him tackling at six is illogical, and say to goodbye to 5peat fellas if this comes to fruition...
Has Ivan had a stroke, or has he bought a 2-1 talagi package, where he really wants the prop brother, but has to take 'blaize' or the deal doesn't happen, what's the real deal here?... @Blade23

You are a crazy person. Carrying bad defenders in the halves is how rugby league works, whatever else Blaize is or isn't, he's a shitload more naturally talented than Cole.

Yeah Cole lacks in talent as we saw at the start of the year when the panthers played Wigan (an actually good team) and we saw how shithouse at attack he actually is

Garner was a turnstile in the 2023 WCC.

Now he's the most valuable player in the squad in terms of versatility in his ability to attack and defend at both centre and second row at an above average level.

Blaize may or may not have the internal drive to make it in the Panthers team. However his senior players are no longer the tank commander and his ilk.

Watch the game again, I Yeo missed just as many tackles but no one brings that up.

Writing off Cole and Talagi before even getting into 2025 is pretty wild.

Even across the season those two will develop. Beying for blood already is odd though some need a whipping boy I suppose.

Really? Is that how it works, for who? Tigers, Eels, Souffs? We are Penrith going for 5peat, we don't play turnstyle halves no more, even maloney stopped guys long enough for the 2 and 3 man to flop on, ....so nah.... you guys got the blinkers on, ..and you can't coach heart!!!
Pricey reserve grader, but not sure you can coach heart
Agreed
He did take less, from reports. But when we offered 500k allegedly, not sure how much less.

Anyway he has plenty of attacking talent, I just thought it was a weird signing for a team that realistically runs on pure effort when you strip everything away. Kid has absolutely no effort or heart, and his games for Samoa haven't done him any favours in that perception.
I reckon he has one hell of a manager, and he has swindled us real good
