Not a Sharks rumour.

But can’t believe the Tigers are that naive to think they could get Munster.

Even if it is a ridiculous 7million for 5 years.

That club is so embarrassing it’s not funny.

Also if this is the desperate stupidity they are going to do to get talent at their Club we better make a move to sign who we want to keep by November 1.

I can see them making big plays for our unsigned players.

ridiculous that a battling club makes an attempt to become good by signing one of the stars most sought after off-contract players… is that the line ?

what do you expect them to do?

what do you think the clubs members expect from them? especially given the state of the club atm.

I’d be dirty if my club wasn’t at least trying, even if it’s an absolute long shot.

What would I expect them to do Lolesi ?

Be realistic.

Surely you don't live in a fantasy land and think the Australian 5/8 would join a basket case club like the West Tigers???

It's not a long shot it's a no shot.

Not a chance in hell Munster would contemplate going to the Tigers.

West Tigers are not one piece away from being a contender.

They have to develop these promising juniors they say they have coming and and keep targeting and adding realistic players that can contribute to a rebuild.

This isn't a microwave fix. It's a slow cook in the oven from where they're at.

ah cmon man, of course they are being realistic behind the scenes, hence api and papali’i signings.

but to not at least consider and have a conversation with the best off contract player in the nrl and publicly say as much atm would be negligent.. dce signed a 4 year deal for 14th placed titans in 2015 (before doing a backflip), it happens.

before fitzy signed with cronulla, I don’t think many people would have thought sharks and Bellamy would be a realistic consideration but we all know how close it was.

i don’t see a real correlation between players contracts in regards to attracting a marquee player and junior development personally.

Munster won't turn tigers around.
They should go after a Finucane style player, a leader each week.
Get some good honest toilers as well, then your youth, and build slowly.
TPJ is not what tigers should go for.
The club is a mess they got rid of Madge, it's possible Sheen's/ Benji could make them worse.
API has never played in a team where he will have to be the key

To be honest even at 29 I’m surprised Api signed with them. I guess the fact he’s won Premierships already softens the blow going to a basket case Club and of course a generous pay day.

DCE is a bit of an odd individual but eventually someone slapped some reality into him and he realised joining the Gold Coast was a fast tracked way of ruining his career.

Munster is way too competitive to go to a Club like the Tigers. He’s going to get a pay day wherever he goes and he has choices and the Tigers choice will be last I’m sure.
