Fitzgibbon is basically a bald John Morris, a nice guy downhill skiier without a ruthless streak.

Hmm, nicho is a funny one. He's basically the epitome of this team, can look unstoppable 1 week then like a park footballer the next. Some consistency for the wedge we're paying him would be nice.

That’s the issue - lack of cap space.

I think Toby’s on $600, Williams and Tracey between them would surely make up the other $400k.

But that leaves 4 spots to fill at a minimum of ~$600k total.

Actually, I think McInnes is around $500k.

You're forgetting that any upgrades go into next years cap. So does Nicho's 11 minute SOO cameo farce in terms of he would have a rep clause for more $$. Doesn't Puru go into the Top 30 for next year? There's an unseen upgrade. I'm sure there is another who signed for 2024 top 30 as well.

It would be easy to sell the farm to get Tino but the cattle would go with the farm

The other has played 90% of games, rarely injured last year and a minor one this year and I don't recall a suspension. This one gives more per game as well

If Iro was ready I would be offloading Ramien I can't see the dollars in him.

Talakai another down hill skier looks great against bottom teams gets toweled up against top 8, he needs to be in the forwards
We have had hardly any injuries in backs this year haven't had a chance to see Stonestreet or Iro.

Yep, he does. IIRC Iro is the other player that gets this upgrade next year.

We have been found it, we got a way with it last year too the finals, but now obvious.
We have no middles who are big metre eaters, we use our outside backs, it works against bottom teams but not top 8.
Look how Warrior forwards aimed up at Talakai.
This tactic next year, we do the same we finish 12th.
You can use your backs sometimes for hit ups but not the majority

In defence. Jam the edge runner. Move up in an arc, knowing the middles aren’t likely to punch through.

Talakai was well contained and it’s only because nikora is in such good form that he was able to still perform.

Our front rowers don’t generate any momentum at the ruck. Brailey shovels the ball out and the edges are cut off. Look how many times hynes and Moylan got caught with the ball having to step back inside

100% and this is what shits me. We have not changed anything to counter what the good teams do to us. The shit teams can't handle the shifts so we blow them away. The good teams bash our middle and attack the same 3 players.
