Well all sounds great in theory but I wouldn't go rubbing one out based on anything from Michael Chammas. He makes Buzz look like a journalist.
This is the thing - there is no ‘rumour’, this has all come about from Chammas basically saying that if he were the Sharks, he be trying to get Pappy and let WK go….. it was entirely his opinion, he didn’t wrap it up as gossip or ‘word on the street’, he flat out said that it was his opinion on what we should do….. and somehow, that’s now become ‘news’ that the Sharks are looking at Pappy and WK has been told he’s free to look elsewhere…. When infact, WK is already free to look elsewhere as he’s a 1st Nov guy….

Yes. That is the level of analysis and journalism in the game.

Of course, the Sharks want to sign an elite fullback. Every club does. Can they within the constraints of the cap? Probably not right now. Should they be working the angles to make it happen? Yes, for the right player.

I could DA going and Dykes if stays fit the utility role.

Pappy would give us the speed we need from fullback.

I am still not big on keeping McInness we have plenty of experience AFB and we will have multiple players after 2025 with close or not more then 150 games Brailey, Nikora, Ramien.

The club could also bring in players from outside

Sharks would feel like they have a real shot at the 25 premiership. Why give up a player that could help them achieve that? Not going to happen. Sharks would have to get something out of it.
The Sharks have shown they will do business as seen with CT, JM.

Hunt got the tap by us hence no trade.

DA and Fitz have the same manager. Fitz is more valuable to the manager. He won't be let to waddle out the door.

If DA signs with Dragons it will be for 26 and beyond. Dragons won't give up one of the young guys mentioned before.

I could see doueihi to you blokes in 25, DA in 26. Flanno throwing names out like Croft etc is classic Flanno.

Part of me does miss the randomness of the signings he does.

I'm going to throw a smokey in for the signing of DA.
The Dolphins.
Back to Qld, and with a very good young HB and not a bad spine to play with.
They had a whisper about Ben Hunt, then it dropped away.

Just a thought, no intel.
