2 months ago I was keeping Kennedy for another year or 2 but I’m now leaning towards rolling the dice with Dykes, ISON, Ford who looking promising or moving Hynes who I really don’t want at 1 but as a 3rd or 4th choice so be it.

Same reason they signed our bloke (Jack Williams) - they've identified that mobile mid-sized forwards are the most suitable body shape for the '6-again-crazy' modern NRL.

If you can get a Haas / AFB freak, all good, but the under-sized guys like our captain aren't going to cut it.

I read a report on Cobbo that some weeks he would go to training and flat out ask to not play that week because he didn't feel like it or wanted to go back home. I can't imagine investing in him and taking him to Sydney given he gets homesick for a place 264km from where he currently is.

If that is true that is a real pea heart, that many players move away from home.
