You are so sadly mistaken Minotaur. Stagg is one of the top 3 defensive players in the game, but he also has some excellent ball playing skills. The first game of the year against Manly he showed it when he jinked past a Manly player then drew in another defender and popped a great long ball to Goodwin who scored. He has also always put his hand up for a run and has gotten smashed but gets right back up.

He is far more than a one dimensional player. If he played for your team you'd notice how valuable he is.

Chris Nero - Brisbane Broncos

Only a very slight rumour, but a rumour is a rumour nonetheless.

ESL rules state that a club can only have 5 overseas players in their books, Bradford Bulls have:

+Brett Kearny
+Heath L'Estrange
+Steve Menzies
+Glenn Hall
+Chris Nero

And with the recent signing of Matt Orford, one player has to be shafted.

Brett Kearny signed for 2010.
Heath L'Estrange signed for 2010.
Glenn Hall signed for 2010.
Matt Orford signed for 2010.
Steve Menzies will 'never' play against the Sea Eagles in the NRL.

Chris Nero seems likely to leave Bradford.
