Warriors and Broncos are two of the teams who are least likely to sign Keating. BS from his agent I'd say.

As for the Bulldogs demanding compensation for the nuffy. A club would be doing you a massive favour by taking him.

lol, i'm yet to see asking about any compensation, i agree though please take him. he is off contract this year thank f**k and will be shown the door either way.

Dragons don't have that coin either didn't anyone read the smh article the clubs in strife and 600,000 is a big stretch for an injury prone player no matter how good he is.

Don't think he's worth that, although he is a gun player when healthy, i also don't think dragons have 600k. Was a interesting news article other day saying dragons and another club (forget who) are extremely broke at the moment.

No way we'll chuck that kind of cash at a bloke with such major injury issues in the past few years. And he's 28/29 now isn't he? Not a spring chicken anymore, El Snake-o

The Dragons were throwing around $375k a year at Dugan, wouldn't be surprised if they were offering Stewart similar.

Beau Scott gorn to clear room for B Stewart. B Stewart to receive a massive offer from the Dragons soon. He will accept.

You heard it here first.

Interesting read before

According to club insiders, the premiers need to shave $500,000 off their star-studded squad to comply with next year's $5 million cap and Stewart's departure would single-handedly achieve that.

That's without the upgrade for DCE, Foran, Lussick or anyone else.

They are going to lose a couple of big names thats for sure.

Why? Because Corey Norman is playing the house down? Don't forget Maloney is elsewhere next year aswell. Commiserations to whoever ends up with him, f**k I hope it's not us again

Club insiders are saying this is all crap.
The $500k problem is "if" everone stays and gets the upgrades they want...
So yes some one will miss out or some of them will have to accept less.

Maloney will be replaced easy enough, and with better players than Keating.

$375k didn't get close to the $650k Canberra gave him,Stewart is from Wollongong,he will only be going home, will Glen go to?

You would think the Warriors would dip into their unlimited talent of superstar U20s side before signing an unco like Keating. Most of the Warriors U20s are already better players.

Stewarts are a package deal. The two are very close I can't imagine you would get one without the other.

It actually makes more sense as well that they would release Beau Scott for Glenn rather than Brett. The Dragons want Brett, not without Glenn, Scott to the Knights.
