Now's the time for all you social media giants to do something worthwhile, Kurt is seriously thinking of playing SL . . . help convince him it's a good move

Makes sense Leilua leaving Knights. They have to clear 2 spots for the Mata'utai brothers with Gidley to be one of them then they needed another outside back at least and depending on if they want to keep Mamo I wouldn't be surpirsed to see McManus or Uate leave

I daresay this will mean we keep Mamo. At least we'll make a much better effort of it with a guaranteed crack at the fullback spot. Next year it looks like we're aiming for:

1. Mamo
2. McManus
3. Sione
4. Gagai
5. Uate

We had to let someone go, there's just too much money being spent on the backline at the moment, and too many kids coming through needing a spot to play. Uate is on $500k, Gagai on $575k next year, Sione would be on about $400k too. Even McManus probably isn't cheap, although he should be. Not sure what BJ is on, but if Canberra are going to pay him $400k, I wouldn't be surprised if it was up around that somewhere. If the club is fair dinkum, we should probably be looking to move McManus on, too. Chanel Mata'utia isn't as good, but he's not that much worse either and would be on far less coin. Would have more pace and strength than McManus, probably not as reliable in D though.

Read earlier that that is what he's on at the Knights, so one would assume that he's not leaving for less $$, and with Canberra being the destination, I'd say he's on more.

Bit of a gamble, but they need a strike centre, so probably a good signing. I'd take him at the Broncs over Reed.

Not a fan of him at all. Dumb footballer, shakey hands, poor decision maker, loves a penalty
He might be a gun on his day, but 100 games into a career he isnt producing "days" consistantly enough

Please let this fall through

Typical rocks and diamonds player, except maybe a bit more extreme on both ends.

Don't know how I'd feel about BJ leaving as a Knights fan. On one hand I love watching him demolish blokes when he's on but on the other hand we have more than enough players to compensate and it'd be nice not to have to worry about the brain explosions. With Gidley likely to be gone too the side suddenly loses a lot of stupidity.

Not entirely unexpected if true. I've never gotten the impression that Stone liked him too much.

Yeah that's overating him. He never hit his potential which was huge. I thought Jennings and Lawrence would be the Roos long term Centre pairing post Hodges. I think at his best he was comparable to where Dylan Walker is right now. Very good but definitely not as good as Lyon, Jennings, Whare and maybe Morris.

You have a very short memory. In 2011 after he set up 2 long range tries to win the game against the table topping dragons I started a thread on him and probably 80% of posters said he was up with hodges and inglis as the 3 premier centers in the game.

To say he wasn't as good as whare is now is beyond laughable. But then again this is from a fan base who over rates their players more then anyone.
